fix(workflow): make prefilled workflow ids unique per workspace (#22800)
## Problem \`prefillWorkflows\` (run for every workspace on \`activateWorkspace\`) inserts workflows and versions with **hardcoded ids** (\`QUICK_LEAD_WORKFLOW_ID = 8b213cac...\`, etc.). So every workspace carries the same workflow/version record ids. Within a workspace schema that's harmless, but it means workspace record ids are **not unique across workspaces**, which: - breaks the workflowVersion backfill on the shared core table (surfaced as the \`IDX_WORKFLOW_VERSION_ONE_ACTIVE_PER_WORKFLOW\` duplicate-key error, since multiple workspaces claim the same active \`workflowId\`), and - collides on \`core.workflow\`/\`core.workflowVersion\` PKs once workflows migrate to core (the core row reuses the workspace record id), causing cross-workspace clobbering. ## Fix Derive the prefill ids **deterministically per workspace**: \`getWorkflowPrefillIds(workspaceId)\` returns \`v5(label:workspaceId, namespace)\` for each of the workflow/version/trigger ids. Run front components in a sandboxed opaque-origin iframe (#22588)
Front components run untrusted third-party React in a Web Worker. That
worker previously shared the host origin, so it could reach
origin-scoped storage (the metadata-store IndexedDB, the
`twenty-sign-out` BroadcastChannel), cookies, and same-origin resources.
This runs the worker inside a `sandbox="allow-scripts"` (no
`allow-same-origin`) iframe, giving it an opaque origin where the
browser denies localStorage, cookies, IndexedDB, and BroadcastChannel
outright. The worker is kept inside the iframe (rather than a bare
iframe) so untrusted code always runs off the main thread; the
remote-dom render path is unchanged.
- **Transport:** host ↔ iframe ↔ worker over a re-transferred
`MessagePort` (`ThreadMessagePort`); a small bootstrap script is inlined
into the iframe via `srcdoc` (bundled at build time by a prebuild step)
and relays the port to the worker it spawns. Messages across the
boundary use a typed discriminated union with a single parse/guard.

single-sources the command-menu confirmation-modal result event name and
detail type in `twenty-shared` (previously a hand-synced duplicate), and
decomposes the renderer (bridge, sandbox, worker orchestration) into
small single-purpose utils with unit tests.

Fix front-component serving on Safari, kill stale presigned caching, and cache built bundles client-side (#22672)
## Context Built front-component bundles are served via `GET /rest/front-components/:id/:cacheKey`. On S3-backed storage (Twenty Cloud) the endpoint used to 302-redirect the worker's authenticated fetch to a presigned S3 URL. That redirect caused two bugs, and fixing it removed the caching the redirect was accidentally providing — so this PR also adds a proper client-side cache. Closes twentyhq/core-team-issues#2653. ### Bug 1 — Safari 403 (Authorization header forwarded across redirect) The renderer worker fetches the bundle with `Authorization: Bearer`. The controller answered with a 302 to a presigned S3 URL. Per the Fetch spec, browsers must strip `Authorization` on a cross-origin redirect. Chrome/Firefox do, but Safari/WebKit forwards it, so S3 receives both a query-string signature and an `Authorization` header and rejects with `InvalidArgument: Only one auth mechanism allowed`. Result: front components never load in Safari on S3-backed storage. ### Bug 2 — 302 cached publicly (browser-independent) The redirect branch set no `Cache-Control`, so a CDN could cache it far beyond the presigned URL's TTL (`STORAGE_S3_PRESIGNED_URL_EXPIRES_IN`, 900s). Consequences: any client re-served the cached 302 after 15 min hits an expired signature (403, also affects Chrome), and the cached redirect containing a live presigned URL is served to unauthenticated requests (short-lived auth bypass). ### Regression this introduces — warm-load caching lost Marking the handoff `no-store` (Bug 2 fix) is correct, but it means the built bundle is no longer cached anywhere on the S3 path. The browser HTTP cache cannot compensate: the presigned URL that actually returns the bytes carries a fresh `X-Amz-Date`/`X-Amz-Signature` on every request, so each download is a brand-new cache key and never hits. Net effect without mitigation: every worker mount re-downloads the full bundle. ## What changed - **Front components return a 200 JSON body instead of a 302.** The controller now responds `200 { url }` with `Cache-Control: private, no-store`. The worker parses the JSON and issues a separate header-less `fetch(url)` to S3. No redirect means the `Authorization` header is never forwarded, making it browser-independent, and the handoff carrying the presigned URL is never cached. The stream path (local storage) is unchanged. - **Client-side bundle cache in the renderer (restores warm loads).** `fetchComponentSource` wraps the fetch chain in a `CacheStorage` layer keyed by the **content-addressed** `/front-components/:id/:checksum.js` URL. A hit returns the stored bundle and skips **both** the `no-store` handoff to Twenty and the S3 download — restoring cross-session warm loads without ever persisting a presigned credential. Because `CacheStorage` is writable by any same-origin code (including the untrusted component code this cache feeds), cached content is verified against the sha-256 checksum embedded in the URL on every read, and evicted on mismatch. Caching degrades to a plain fetch where `CacheStorage` or WebCrypto is unavailable. - **sha-256 checksums for built front components.** The SDK build and workspace prefill now fingerprint built front-component bundles with sha-256 (WebCrypto has no md5), enabling the integrity check above. Other file folders keep md5. Legacy md5-fingerprinted URLs (32-hex) simply bypass the cache — already-synced components keep working and start benefiting from caching on their next build/sync. - **WebKit e2e coverage.** Added a `webkit` project to the postcard example's Playwright config mirroring `chrome` (shared setup + storageState), plus iframe/worker diagnostics logging so front-component failures surface in the test log. `TZ` is pinned to `Europe/Paris` because WebKit on Linux ignores Playwright's `timezoneId` emulation and rejects the runner's legacy `CET` alias, which crashed the record page before the component could render. ### Why we hand off to S3 instead of streaming through Twenty On S3-backed storage we deliberately **do not** proxy/stream the bundle bytes through the API. The presigned URL is used once and discarded. ### Invalidation No TTL and no explicit delete — invalidation is by key change. A rebuild changes the checksum → changes the URL → guaranteed miss on the new key. The old entry is orphaned and reclaimed by normal browser eviction (quota/LRU; Safari ITP after 7 idle days). Global invalidation lever: bump the cache name suffix (`front-component-source-v1`). ## Deploy note — front/server release window Old frontend bundles (already-open tabs) hitting the new server receive the JSON handoff where they expect raw JS and fail to render until the tab is reloaded. feat(server): support server-scoped files via nullable workspaceId on file table (#22587)
Part of the app settings architecture cleanup (twentyhq/core-team-issues#2456) — PR 1 of the server-level documents plan, reworked after the revert of #22560 (#22579). feat(workflow): condition filter on database-event triggers (#21868)
## Problem
Connecting a mailbox bulk-creates contacts via the email/calendar sync,
and each `person.upserted` fires the seeded **"Create company when
adding a new person"** workflow. The trigger enqueues one run per record
(no batching) and each run bills several `WORKFLOW_NODE_RUN` events — so
a single mailbox connect can rack up tens of thousands of runs and
exhaust credits on a brand-new workspace. The workflow is also redundant
on that path: the sync already creates the company from the email domain
and links the person to it.
## What this does
Adds an optional, user-defined **filter** to database-event (listener)
triggers, evaluated in the listener **before a run is enqueued**.
Non-matching events never create a run, so they consume zero execution
credits. This is the Filter node's capability, lifted to the trigger
level, and available for all event types (created / updated / upserted /
deleted).
The seeded "Create company when adding a new person" workflow now
carries a visible trigger filter — `Created by → Source is not Email`
**and** `is not Calendar` — so it no longer runs for sync-created
contacts, while still running for manually / API / CSV-added people.

- **Backend:** extracted `evaluateStepFilters()`, shared by the Filter
action and the trigger listener's new `eventMatchesRecordFilter` gate.
The record is exposed under the `trigger` key so filters reference it

- Lint (diff, autofix): 0 warnings / 0 errors across all three.
- Unit tests: a new `evaluate-step-filters` spec exercising the exact

proving non-matching events are not enqueued. All backend
filter/listener suites pass.

feat(server): add isSystemSideEffect & merge createOneObject/createOneField side-effect migrations (#21673)
## Context When an object is created via the metadata API, `createOneObject` creates its side-effect entities (INDEX view + viewFields, indexes, navigation menu item, "go to" command menu item, record-page fields view, page layout/tabs/widgets) across **three separate `validateBuildAndRunWorkspaceMigration` calls**, purely because the protection behavior (mutations → overrides, delete → deactivate, reset → reactivate) was keyed on *"owned by the standard app"*, forcing the side effects into batches with different application owners. The INDEX view is targeted directly by `key = INDEX` (it is not a page-layout widget), de-duplicated per `(viewId, fieldMetadataUniversalIdentifier)` to respect the per-view unique index. The unique-field index is likewise flagged the inverse relation field stays unflagged (`isSystem: false`). - **Protection predicate** extended: `isCallerOverridingEntity` and the removal/reset split strategies now treat `isSystemSideEffect` rows as protected even when caller-owned (route to overrides / deactivate / reset) and the page-layout-reset guards allow resetting flagged entities. - **Standard compute maps** set the flag consistently so a re-sync produces no diff (standard-object side effects stay `false`; per-object nav command items and custom-object base fields are `true`). - **Read-only GraphQL exposure** of `isSystemSideEffect` on the view / view-field / page-layout / tab / widget / command-menu-item DTOs (not exposed on create/update inputs). => Todo: needs to take this new flag into account. This is fine for now because isSystem remains on object/field. - **Fast instance command** (`2-14`) adding the 8 columns (`NOT NULL DEFAULT false`). ## Scope decisions - **`pageLayout` is not an `OverridableEntity`**, its own row has nothing user-overridable (all customization lives on tabs/widgets). CommandMenuItem overridable entity (#21486)
## Context Second PR of the overridable-entities track (after #21436 for views): command menu items become overridable so that edits on non-owned items are stored as overrides instead of mutating the row, and deletion/deactivation becomes reversible. ## What this does - `CommandMenuItemEntity` now extends `OverridableEntity<CommandMenuItemOverrides>` (adds `isActive` + `overrides`). ## Why
Our standard `Person`/`Company` objects accumulated fields that aren't
generic to every
business, while missing a more universal revenue field that essentially
every CRM ships.
This PR makes the **Standard application** hold a tighter, more
universal set of fields,
and sets the stage for a follow-up PR that introduces a **People Data
Labs enrichment app**
to populate them.

### Upgrade commands (v2.9)
Three idempotent, per-workspace commands, run in timestamp order:
1. **`upgrade:2-9:move-demoted-standard-fields-to-custom-application`**
(1799000040000) —
re-owns the 6 demoted fields to the workspace custom application
(`isCustom = true`,
new `applicationId` + fresh `universalIdentifier`), keeping their data
and active state.
2. **`upgrade:2-9:rename-conflicting-custom-fields`** (1799000045000) —
if a workspace already
has a *custom* field named `annualRevenue`, renames it to
`annualRevenueCustom`
(data preserved via column rename) so the standard field can be added.
Skips non-custom matches.
3. **`upgrade:2-9:add-inactive-generic-standard-fields`**
(1799000050000) — creates
`Company.annualRevenue` on existing workspaces as inactive, guarded to
skip workspaces
missing the target object or where the name is still taken.
**Failure model:** the workspace iterator isolates failures per
workspace (one workspace failing
never affects others); within a workspace the runner records per-command
status and resumes on the
next run, and every command is idempotent, so partial runs self-heal.
### Supporting changes
* **Field-option color palette:** widened the `TagColor` union
(`twenty-shared` `FieldMetadataOptions`
+ the field-metadata `options.input` DTO) from 10 colors to the full
theme palette, benefiting any
future SELECT/MULTI_SELECT field.
* **Dev seeder:**
* The default "Annual Recurring Revenue" dashboard widget now points at
the generic
`annualRevenue` field (renamed to "Annual Revenue").
* Removed the "Companies by Size (Stacked by City)" widget (relied on
the demoted `employees`).
* `employees` is dropped from company data seeds and re-added as a
**custom** field seed, so dev
workspaces still get an `employees` column matching the demoted
behavior.
### Cleanup
Front-end record types (`Company.ts`/`Person.ts`), the
`getDisplayNameFromParticipant` test mock,
metadata integration specs, the Zapier `crud_record` test, and the
regenerated
`get-standard-object-metadata-related-entity-ids` snapshot.
## ⚠️ Breaking change (intentional)
Removes standard fields `Company.annualRecurringRevenue`,
`Company.employees`,
`Company.idealCustomerProfile`, `Company.xLink`, `Person.xLink`, and
`Person.city` from the core
GraphQL schema (replaced by `Company.annualRevenue`).
This is why the breaking-changes check reports a large number of
removals — `graphql-inspector`
flags any removed object field plus its derived
aggregate/order-by/filter/update types.
**Mitigation:** the
`upgrade:2-9:move-demoted-standard-fields-to-custom-application` command
re-owns these fields as custom fields per workspace, preserving their
name and data, so existing
tenants keep working. New workspaces won't have them.

feat(apps): split AI tool and workflow action triggers in LogicFunction manifest (#20208)
## Summary Replaces the bolted-on `isTool` + `toolInputSchema` fields on `LogicFunctionManifest` with two distinct, opt-in triggers that align with the existing `cron` / `databaseEvent` / `httpRoute` trigger pattern: - **`toolTriggerSettings`** — exposes the function as an AI tool (chat / MCP / function calling). Uses standard JSON Schema (the format LLMs natively understand). - **`workflowActionTriggerSettings`** — exposes the function as a step in the visual workflow builder. Uses Twenty's rich `InputSchema` so the builder can render proper `FieldMetadataType`-aware editors, variable pickers, labels, and an optional `outputSchema`. A function can opt into none, one, or both. Each surface gets the schema format appropriate for it. ### Why `isTool: true` previously exposed the function as both an AI tool AND a workflow node, with the same JSON Schema feeding both — but the workflow builder really wants Twenty's `InputSchema` (with `CURRENCY`, `RELATION`, `EMAILS`, etc.) and the AI surface really wants standard JSON Schema. Today the workflow builder hacks around this by treating JSON Schema as `InputSchema`, which silently breaks for any non-primitive field type. Splitting the triggers fixes that and lets each surface evolve independently. ### Migration - **Fast** instance command adds the two new nullable columns. - **Slow** instance command backfills `toolTriggerSettings` + `workflowActionTriggerSettings` from `isTool=true` rows (preserving today's both-surfaces behaviour) then drops the legacy columns. ### Stacked Stacked on top of #20181. fix: enforce the user to pass in property with id suffix for morph relations in Rest API (#18335)
REST API allowed users to pass in targetOpportunity, targetPerson, targetCompany etc when trying to create a noteTarget or a taskTarget. The request went through, we got back a 201, the record was created, but the relationship was never established since the FK was empty in the database. This PR enforces users to send in the property with the `Id` suffix for consistency. # Introduction Related to https://github.com/twentyhq/core-team-issues/issues/1995 This PR introduces the basis of the `twentyStandard` application as code on demand, it's highly tied to `ids` where it will becomes workspace agnostic following the builder and runner `universalIdentifier` refactor later. The goal here to allow computing the `allFlatEntityMaps` `to` of the `twentyStandard` application on a empty workspace ( workspace creation ). Allowing installing the twenty standard app through a workspace migration instead of passing by the sync metadata Nothing done will be run in production for the moment if it's not the small validation refactor we've introduced Please note that everything introduced here will be replaced at some point by a twenty app instance when the twenty sdk is mature enough to handle of the edge cases we need here ## How we've proceeded We've been iterating over every workspace entity both objects and their fields, and transpiled them to flatEntity. Being sure we migrate the defaultValue, settings and so on accordingly. We've also compute all the ids in prior of the whole entities computation so we don't face any hoisting issue. ## Current state At the moment only handling all of the 29 standard objects and their fields Settings a unique universalIdentifier for all of them Will come views, agent role targets and so on later ## `workspace:compute-twenty-standard-migration` command This command allow generating a workspace migration that will result in installing the twenty standard app in an empty workspace It's temporary and aims to allow debugging for the moment we might not keep it in the future as it is right now It contains debug writeFileSync which is expected no worries greptile ## `LabelFieldMetadataIdentifierId` Small refactor allowing defining the label identifier field metadata id of a uuid field metadata type for system object, as some of our standard object don't have a name field and don't aim to Also please note that we might remove this build options later in the sake of the currently installed universal identifier application that we could compare with the deterministic twenty standard one ## `runFlatFieldMetadataValidators` Deprecated this pattern which was redundant and not v2 friendly pattern ## Current errors that will address in upcoming PR Current standard objects and fields metadata does not pass the validation that we have in place, as historically the sync metadata would directly consume the repositories and would just ignore the validation. This is about to change. In this PR (1/3) - introduce view.mainGroupByFieldMetadataId as the new reference determining which fieldMetadataId is used in a grouped view, in order to deprecate viewGroup.fieldMetadataId which creates inconsistencies. view.mainGroupByFieldMetadataId is now filled at every view creation, though not in use yet. - Introduce a command to backfill view.mainGroupByFieldMetadataId for existing views + delete all viewGroup.fieldMetadataId with a fieldMetadataId that is not view.mainGroupByFieldMetadataId. (It should concern 37 active workspaces) - Temporarily disable the option to change a grouped view's fieldMetadataId as for now it creates inconsistencies. This feature can be reintroduced when we have done the full migration. In a next PR - (2/3) use view.mainGroupByFieldMetadataId instead of viewGroup.fieldMetadataId. Deprecate object metadata maps in favor of flat entities (#16080)
## Context Deprecating the old objectMetadataMap type in favour of split flat entities to match with our new caching. In the long run, trying to achieve: - Better performance through caching - Consistent data access patterns across the codebase - Reduced database queries Now that everything is based on flat entities, which are cached, we can finish the refactoring of workspace context cache which should already improve performances. Then the last step will be to consume that new cache in the new global datasource to get rid of the many workspace datasources stored in the server |

[View migration] Clean ViewFilterOperand (#14785)
In the BE we have stored filter operand as IS_EMPTY, IS_NOT_EMPTY, etc. For some reason in the FE we were manipulating IsEmpty, IsNotEmpty, etc. (maybe because they were used before in Views before they were moved to core) So we were converting the operands in the FE from IS to Is (convertViewFilterOperandFromCore) to read and manipulate viewFilters, and then back to BE version to send mutations etc., from Is to IS (convertViewFilterOperandToCore). The migration is now over, so we can remove and simplify that code. (In the 1-5:migrate-views-to-core command we still do the migration from Is format to IS format.) |

Fix - Record text should always be visible and in first position in views (#14598)
Fixes https://github.com/twentyhq/twenty/issues/14442 Issues were 1. Table headers always used label metadata identifier (or record text) as first column, while table body followed viewFields positions 2. Label metadata identifier should always be visible and in first position for the table views to work as expected, while when updating the label metadata identifier for an object, no changes were brought to the viewFields To fix that 1. In the BE: - a new logic is implemented to i) update label identifier's viewFields position and visibility when an object's label identifier is updated to a new field; ii) add validation on the update of a viewField's position and visibility to make sure the label identifier's viewField always has the lowest position + is visible - a command was added to check all existing views and viewfields 3. In the FE: at first I tried to replicate the logic of the headers (based on the label identifier rather than the positions) on the body, but it was too complex and error-prone as in multiple places we are based on the positions. It also feels more right to have only one source of truth which is the viewField position. @lucasbordeau if that does not suit you, we can throw an error if the field with the lowest position is not the label metadata identifier, as you said the table view will be very buggy / wont work if the label identifier is not in the first position. but now it should never be the case thanks to the validation implemented in the BE This should be migrated to viewFieldService V2 when relevant @Weiko @prastoin |

Add missing FK on view tables (#14084)
## Context View tables were missing some FK, we are also introducing delete cascade on those tables when needed to leverage pg cascade deletion instead of having to implement it. Also renaming those classes with Entity suffix to follow repo guidelines. |
