Final PR in the Pick Record stack. Adds the **Load Balanced** strategy:
pick the candidate that currently has the *fewest related records*. This
is the "fair assignment" mode — e.g. assign a new company to the account
owner who currently owns the fewest companies, or route a lead to the
rep with the fewest open opportunities.

**Stacked on #21900** (which is stacked on #21899) — merge in order.
This PR's diff against `main` includes PRs 1 & 2 until they merge.

- Widened the `strategy` enum to add `LOAD_BALANCED`, and added an
optional `loadBalance: { objectNameSingular, fieldName }` to the action
input.
- Editor: selecting **Load balanced** reveals a **Balance by** object

- Executor: for each candidate, counts records of the chosen related

load balancing reads current data, so there's no cursor to store.

self-correcting skew), which is inherent to load-balancing and
acceptable.

(`{ [relationField]: { id: { eq: candidateId } } }`), run in parallel.

the logic obvious.

simple; picking an unrelated field just yields zero counts, which is
visibly wrong. Filtering options to relations that target the pool

opportunity to the second, configures `LOAD_BALANCED` counting

tests (3 suites / 4 tests). `typecheck` + `lint:diff-with-main` green
for shared/server/front.

Félix Malfait a682c8fa62 feat(sdk): declare row-level permission predicates in the role manifest (#21919)
## Why

Apps can declare object and field permissions on a role via
`defineRole`, but **not row-level security**. The RLS engine and the
metadata-sync machinery already support predicates fully — they're
first-class universal flat entities, the `FlatRole` already carries
`rowLevelPermissionPredicateUniversalIdentifiers`, and the
workspace-migration layer has builders/validators/handlers for them. The
only gap was the **manifest layer**: `RoleManifest` had no field for
predicates, so the sync converter always left them empty.

As a result, the only way to ship RLS with an app was a post-install
script that pushed predicates through the
`upsertRowLevelPermissionPredicates` mutation. That mutation assigns
predicates to the workspace's **generic custom application**, not the
app that owns the role — so a single role's definition ends up split
across two applications and drifts on every upgrade (you have to
remember to re-run the script). The Partner app does exactly this today
via `configure-partner-rls.ts`.

Connecting a mailbox bulk-creates contacts via the email/calendar sync,
and each `person.upserted` fires the seeded **"Create company when
adding a new person"** workflow. The trigger enqueues one run per record
(no batching) and each run bills several `WORKFLOW_NODE_RUN` events — so
a single mailbox connect can rack up tens of thousands of runs and
exhaust credits on a brand-new workspace. The workflow is also redundant
on that path: the sync already creates the company from the email domain
and links the person to it.

Adds an optional, user-defined **filter** to database-event (listener)
triggers, evaluated in the listener **before a run is enqueued**.
Non-matching events never create a run, so they consume zero execution

agents created via the API and re-saves of existing bad data.
- **Frontend** — the output schema builder shows an inline error on the
Variable Name field as soon as an invalid name is entered.

- Unit test for the shared validity check (valid + invalid cases:
spaces, leading space, empty, > 64 chars, symbols, unicode).
- Unit test for `validateAgentResponseFormat` covering text/json
formats, valid names, a space in a name, an over-length name, and
reporting multiple invalid names at once.

## Notes for the reporter

The immediate unblock for an affected workflow is to rename the output
variable to remove the space (e.g. `meetings brief` → `meetings_brief`)
and retry the run. With this change the bad name is caught up front with
an explanation rather than failing mid-run.

Weiko a1f79c4f40 fix(server): enforce lowercase universalIdentifier in sync (#21754)
## Context

App sync fails when a manifest defines an entity with an uppercase UUID
`universalIdentifier`. Postgres `uuid` columns normalize to lowercase on
write, but the sync diff matches `universalIdentifier` strings
case-sensitively. So an uppercase-defined entity never matches its
lowercased DB row and is seen as delete + create on every sync, which
trips downstream guards like "Parent navigation menu item not found".

## Change

Reject non-lowercase `universalIdentifier`s at validation time in
`WorkspaceEntityMigrationBuilderService.validateUniversalIdentifier`
(right after the existing UUID-v4 check). This lives in the abstract
base builder, so it covers every syncable entity type. App authors now
get a clear "must be lowercase" error on the first sync instead of
confusing downstream failures.

Validation is sufficient here, no normalization needed — because the DB
side is always lowercase, so rejecting uppercase input guarantees both
sides of the diff match.

When an object is created via the metadata API, `createOneObject`
creates its side-effect entities (INDEX view + viewFields, indexes,
navigation menu item, "go to" command menu item, record-page fields
view, page layout/tabs/widgets) across **three separate
`validateBuildAndRunWorkspaceMigration` calls**, purely because the
protection behavior (mutations → overrides, delete → deactivate, reset →
reactivate) was keyed on *"owned by the standard app"*, forcing the side
effects into batches with different application owners. This
misrepresents ownership and breaks atomicity.

This PR separates two orthogonal concepts:

- **Ownership** (`applicationId`), the true owner: the caller's
application (the workspace custom app today, 3rd-party apps later).
- **Protection** (`isSystemSideEffect`), the row was generated by the
system, so user mutations route to overrides, deletion becomes

Once side effects are re-owned to the caller, the old `applicationId ===

Charles Bochet 97871131a1 fix(server): mitigate integration-test OOM flakiness (#21588)
## Problem

`server-integration-test` shards have been failing intermittently across
unrelated PRs with a distinctive signature: the shard exits code 1 with
**no jest assertion failure, no `Test Suites:` summary, and no V8
`JavaScript heap out of memory` error** — the process just dies mid-run.
Failures hit random shards and clear on re-run (e.g. an unrelated branch
failed shard 6 once, then passed 3× on identical code), while the
`merge_group` gate stays green.

### Root cause

Each shard runs a **single in-band jest process** that boots one shared
NestJS app (`globalSetup` → `app.listen`) and holds it for the entire
shard, driving heavy metadata migrations + cache rebuilds in that one
process. `NODE_OPTIONS=--max-old-space-size=12288` let V8 grow to 12 GB
— *above* the `ubuntu-latest` runner's available RAM (16 GB, shared with
Postgres/Redis/ClickHouse). V8 therefore deferred aggressive GC and grew
past physical memory, so the **OS OOM-killer killed the process before
V8 hit its own ceiling** — which is why there's no heap error and no
jest summary, just a silent exit.

## Changes (CI/test-only — prod runtime untouched)

- **Lower the integration jest heap cap `12288` → `6144`** so V8

After 2.13, server CPU stepped up and stayed up. Sentry profiling of
`POST /metadata` pins it on
`addFlatEntityToFlatEntityMapsThroughMutationOrThrow` — ~26% self-time
plus a long tail, turning metadata-write requests into multi-second
(~18s observed) operations.

The hot stack is:

unchanged (the early throw already enforces uniqueness).

Adds a unit spec covering indexing, the no-`applicationId` case, the
duplicate throw, and a 20k-entity build that completes instantly (guards
against re-introducing the quadratic).

This is the bleed-stopper. The deeper issue is that
`computeAllInvolvedApplicationIds` pulls the **entire** twenty-standard
application into the dependency set of every migration and rebuilds
those sub-maps per request instead of caching them. Worth scoping the
dependency set to referenced entities (or caching the standard-app

of `Note Targets` + `IconBuildingSkyscraper`.

**Standard uniformization (value-preserving)**
- Re-seeded a workspace on this branch and inspected all 25
default-relation field definitions across the 10 standard objects: every
canonical value is unchanged, every intentional variant (Relations /
Events / IconFileUpload) is preserved, and the only diff vs `main` is
the Company `IconIconTimelineEvent` → `IconTimelineEvent` fix.

**Upgrade command (existing workspaces)**
- Simulated a real upgrade: seeded a workspace on `main` (Company icon
typo present), created a custom object via the metadata API (it came out
with the old buggy labels, as expected on `main`), then switched to this
branch and ran the command.
- Confirmed via both the metadata API and direct DB inspection:
Company's standard `timelineActivities` icon healed to
`IconTimelineEvent`, while the custom object's relations were left
untouched.
- Idempotent: re-running reports "already up to date".

**CI**: typecheck, lint, server unit tests, and all server
integration-test shards green.

Marc Bickel 5d0a4b8db4 fix(twenty-front): keep paging record board columns past the second page (#21348)
Fixes #21355

## Problem

On a Record Board (Kanban) view, columns that contain more than 20
records stop loading at exactly 20. The initial query loads the first
page, one automatic fetch brings the column to 20, and then the loading
placeholder at the bottom of the column **spins forever** — scrolling
all the way down triggers no further requests. Every column is
permanently capped at `2 * RECORD_BOARD_QUERY_PAGE_SIZE` (20) records.

### Steps to reproduce

1. Open any object in board view, grouped by a field where at least one
group has > 20 matching records.
2. Wait for the board to load — the first 20 cards in the large column
appear.
3. Scroll that column to the bottom.

**Expected:** more cards load as you approach the bottom, until the
column is exhausted.
**Actual:** the placeholder stays forever; no additional group-by
request is fired.

## Root cause

An **edge-triggered consumer reading a level signal that is stuck
high.**

The fetch-more trigger (`RecordBoardFetchMoreInViewTriggerComponent`) is
an `IntersectionObserver` sentinel that writes its `inView` state into
the board-level `recordBoardShouldFetchMoreComponentState`. Its
`rootMargin` is:

With `estimatedCardHeight ≈ 130px` and `RECORD_BOARD_QUERY_PAGE_SIZE =

already-loaded board. So the sentinel reports `inView = true` across the
whole loaded board, and the boolean **latches `true` after the first
auto-fetch and never toggles back**.

The consumer in `RecordBoardQueryEffect` only reacts to the **false→true
edge** of that boolean, and `triggerRecordBoardFetchMore` is a stable
`useCallback`. Once the boolean is stuck `true` and the dependency array
stops changing, the effect never re-runs — so it fetches exactly once.
The signal is *level* ("the bottom is in view, keep loading") but it's
consumed as an *edge* ("the bottom just appeared, load once"), and the
oversized `rootMargin` guarantees the level is permanently high so the
single edge never repeats.

The large `rootMargin` is intentional prefetch buffering and is not the
bug; the consumer simply needs to keep paging while the signal is high.

## Fix

Make the consumer **re-arm** the trigger after every page that actually
returned records:

1. `useTriggerRecordBoardFetchMore` now returns a `boolean` — `true`
only once at least one column received records this round, `false` on
every early-exit / empty result.
2. `RecordBoardQueryEffect` resets
`recordBoardShouldFetchMoreComponentState` to `false` after a
**productive** fetch. The sentinel is still inside the inflated
`rootMargin`, so the observer immediately re-asserts `true`, which
re-runs the effect and fetches the next page.

The loop terminates naturally and never spins:

- **Buffer filled** — enough cards load that the sentinel finally leaves
the `rootMargin` → observer reports `false` → loop stops. As the user
scrolls, it re-arms (normal infinite scroll).
- **Columns exhausted** — `triggerRecordBoardFetchMore` returns `false`
(per-column `shouldFetchMore` flags already get set `false` when a page
returns `< PAGE_SIZE`), so the boolean is not reset and no further fetch
fires — no busy-loop on a fully-loaded board.

The existing `recordBoardIsFetchingMore` re-entrancy guard prevents any
overlapping/double fetch during the round-trip.

## Test

- `npx nx typecheck twenty-front` → passes
- `npx nx lint twenty-front` (oxlint --type-aware + oxfmt) → 0 warnings,
0 errors, formatting clean
- Manually verified on a board with columns of 38 and 74 records:
pre-fix both froze at 20; post-fix they page to completion on scroll,
and a fully-loaded board issues no extra requests.

## Notes / alternatives considered

- **Shrinking `rootMargin`** would mask the bug for tall boards but
defeat the intended prefetch buffering and reintroduce it whenever the
buffer is smaller than the loaded content. The level/edge mismatch is
the real defect.
- **Moving the loop into the trigger component** was rejected — it only
knows `inView`, not whether a fetch was productive or whether columns
are exhausted, so self-looping there would increase coupling. The query
effect is the right owner of fetch orchestration.

Marketing/campaign emails on top of the emailing-domain (SES) feature:
send a broadcast to a hand-picked list, with per-customer-domain
unsubscribe links and opt-out-only **unsubscribe topics**.

## Model

Standard objects (workspace schema, flat-metadata):
- `messageCampaign` — a campaign send (subject, body template, from
address, status, list, optional unsubscribe topic).
- `messageList` + `messageListMember` — the hand-picked audience (person
↔ list join). A campaign's recipients are its list's members; everyone
is sendable unless suppressed.

Core entities (`core` schema, workspace-scoped — readable by the public
unsubscribe flow without a workspace context):
- `unsubscribeTopic` — an opt-out-only category (name, description,
visibility). There is no opt-in subscription state.
- `messageSuppression` — the single consent store: a row with
`unsubscribeTopicId` NULL is a global block; a row with an
`unsubscribeTopicId` and reason `UNSUBSCRIBE` is a per-topic opt-out.
Two partial unique indexes dedupe global vs per-topic rows (Postgres
treats NULLs as distinct).
- `emailingDomain` — the workspace's SES sending domain,
auto-provisioned when an email channel is added (and cleaned up when its
last channel is removed), with verification status + DNS records.

Campaign messages reuse the existing `message` / `messageThread` /
`messageParticipant` model — one outbound `message` per recipient with a
`deliveryStatus` state machine.

## Sending

- `sendMessageCampaign` resolves the audience **under the caller's

(the request never materializes per-recipient rows or jobs).

- `previewMessageCampaignAudience` returns a pre-send breakdown (total /
without-email / duplicate / globally-unsubscribed / topic-unsubscribed /
sendable), shown as a hint under the composer pickers.

## Unsubscribe

- Encrypted (AES-256-GCM) token carrying workspaceId, address, optional
`unsubscribeTopicId`, `issuedAt`, and a `preview` flag.
- One-click POST (RFC 8058) + `mailto:` — topic-scoped when the token
carries a topic, global otherwise.
- Preferences page: a checkbox per visible topic (checked = still
receiving); submitting creates per-topic opt-outs for unchecked topics

- A **Preview** action in settings opens the live page via a
preview-claim token; opt-out POSTs are no-ops for preview tokens, so

- Per-customer unsubscribe hostname (Cloudflare DNS); sends are gated on

provisioning, the `unsubscribeTopic` / `messageSuppression` core
entities, and the unsubscribe token/hostname plumbing. Domain creation
is validated (`CreateEmailingDomainInput` — domain-format regex,
lowercased) before any value reaches SES or the unsubscribe hostname.

## Frontend

- Campaign composer side panel (from / list / unsubscribe topic /
subject / body) with a live audience-preview hint.
- Email settings: email channels each showing their auto-provisioned
sending domain in a single section (status + DNS records + a "Check
verification" action), plus an **Unsubscribe Topics** section to
create/manage topics and preview the recipient page. A demo-mode banner
is shown when the LOG driver is active.

Félix Malfait 036d9a2bcf feat: gate record creation on isUICreatable only, decoupled from isSystem (#21527)
## Context

The generic "create a record" UI affordance previously required
`!isSystem`, conflating two distinct concerns: **"hidden from Data
Model"** and **"not user-creatable"**. This blocked legitimately
creatable system objects (e.g. marketing message lists kept `isSystem:
true` only to stay out of the Data Model).

This PR makes creatability depend on `isUICreatable` alone, so
visibility (`isSystem`) and creatability (`isUICreatable`) become
independent.

# UI capability flags: `isUIEditable` + `isUICreatable`

## Per-verb capability model

This PR replaces the negative `isUIReadOnly` metadata flag with
positive, per-verb capability flags (à la Salesforce
`createable`/`updateable`):

- **`isUIEditable: boolean`, default `true`** — rename of `isUIReadOnly`
with inverted polarity, on **both** `objectMetadata` and
`fieldMetadata`. It is one concept ("can the user edit this through the
generic UI?") at two altitudes, so it carries one name at both levels.
- **`isUICreatable: boolean`, default `true`** — new, **object-level
only** (fields have no create verb). When `false`, no generic UI
affordance to create a record of this object appears anywhere (table "+"
buttons, board column add, calendar add, relation-section "Add new",
record picker "Add new", command-menu create action and its keyboard
shortcut).

Both flags are **UI-affordance flags only**: the server does not block
create/edit mutations based on them, so the system, API, and workflows
continue to mutate these records freely. They are orthogonal statements
about the object's nature with no implication rule in the data model.
Because today's inline creation UX creates a blank record the user must
then edit, the frontend create predicate currently requires both
`isUICreatable` and effective editability.

There is no CREATE permission in `ObjectPermissions`; the frontend keeps
gating creation on `canUpdateObjectRecords` as a proxy, ANDed with the
new flags.

## Unified create predicate

All generic creation entry points now flow through one predicate,
`canCreateRecordsForObjectMetadataItem` (`isUICreatable` && not
`isSystem` && not effectively read-only, where effective read-only
covers `isUIEditable`, `isRemote`, and the `canUpdateObjectRecords`
proxy via `isObjectMetadataReadOnly`). This deletes the previously
hardcoded suppression lists:

- `isRecordTableCreateDisabled.ts` and its hardcoded
`WorkflowRun`/`WorkflowVersion` list — deleted; those objects (plus
`workspaceMember`) now declare `isUICreatable: false` in the standard
application instead.
- The hardcoded `workspaceMember` guard inside
`useAddNewRecordAndOpenSidePanel.ts` — deleted.
- The `CREATE_NEW_RECORD` command menu item's availability expression
now checks `objectMetadataItem.isUICreatable`, `isUIEditable`,
`isSystem`, and `isRemote`; a workspace upgrade command re-syncs the
expression in existing workspaces.

Component-local conditions (soft-delete filter active, layout
customization mode) stay in their components.

## GraphQL compatibility and removal plan

The schema delta versus main is **purely additive plus deprecations —
zero breaking changes**:

- `isUIReadOnly` remains on both the ObjectMetadata and FieldMetadata
GraphQL output types for **one release** as a deprecated field computed
as `!isUIEditable` (`deprecationReason: 'Use isUIEditable'`). The Twenty
frontend no longer queries it.
- `isUIReadOnly` also remains on the **input side** for one release
(`CreateFieldInput`, `UpdateFieldInput`, `FieldFilter`, `ObjectFilter`),
keeping the schema shape identical to main for those members. On create
it acts as a legacy alias mapped to `!isUIReadOnly` (`isUIEditable` wins
when both are provided); on update it is ignored, exactly as on main (it
was never an editable property). Filtering on the deprecated member
keeps working until the column is dropped at upgrade time; after that it
is a deprecated no-op surface kept only for schema compatibility.

**Removal plan for next release: drop `isUIReadOnly` from the output
DTOs (and resolvers' `@ResolveField`s), from the input/filter types,
from the create-input mapping, and the `@WasRemovedInUpgrade`-retained
entity columns and decorators.**

## ⚠️ Webhook / database-event payload shape change

The `database-event-payload` type in `twenty-shared` got a clean rename
(no alias): metadata snapshots in webhook and database-event payloads

now read the manifest values with `?? true` defaults. The types are
re-exported through `twenty-sdk` from `twenty-shared`.

## Migration & backfill

- One fast instance command: adds `isUIEditable` (NOT NULL default
`true`) on `core."objectMetadata"` and `core."fieldMetadata"`, backfills
`isUIEditable = false` exactly where `isUIReadOnly = true`, drops
`isUIReadOnly`, and adds `isUICreatable` (default `true`) on
`objectMetadata`. The `down` is the exact inverse. Uses `ADD/DROP COLUMN
IF (NOT) EXISTS`, matching the 2-12 drop-`isCustom` precedent. Verified
up and down in separate transactions against a dev database with exact
backfill counts.
- **Cross-version upgrade safety (multi-version self-hosted jumps):**
the upgrade sequence interleaves per version (instance → workspace
commands), so pre-2.13 workspace commands run **before** the 2.13 rename
when an old instance jumps several versions. Following the `isCustom`
precedent: `isUIEditable`/`isUICreatable` are marked
`@WasIntroducedInUpgrade` and `isUIReadOnly` stays on both entities as
`@WasRemovedInUpgrade`, so the upgrade-aware entity metadata adapter
hides the not-yet-existing columns (and keeps the legacy column live) at
pre-2.13 cursors. **No committed upgrade command outside the 2-13
directory is modified**: the old 1-21/2-8/2-9 commands keep their
original `isUIReadOnly: true` inputs, which still compile (entity
property retained, deprecated create-input alias mapped) and still
produce the correct legacy column writes pre-rename.
- A 2-13 workspace command (`sync-standard-ui-capability-flags`)
re-syncs `isUICreatable` **and** `isUIEditable` on standard objects and
`isUIEditable` on standard fields from the standard-application
definitions. This backfills `isUICreatable: false` on
`workflowRun`/`workflowVersion`/`workspaceMember` and heals fields
created mid-cross-upgrade by pre-2.13 commands (whose hidden
`isUIEditable` value cannot reach the insert). Both 2-13 sync commands
pass `isSystemBuild: true` — the flat metadata validator otherwise
rejects direct updates to system objects (verified against a
deliberately drifted dev database; the run is idempotent).
- A second 2-13 workspace command re-syncs the create-record command
availability expression.

## Testing

- Unit tests for `canCreateRecordsForObjectMetadataItem`
(flag/permission/system combinations) and for the manifest converters
(flags set / omitted → defaults).

## Summary

Two workflow-run improvements, with all non-trivial logic isolated in
pure, unit-tested utils.

### 1. Idempotent stop
`stopWorkflowRun` no longer throws when a run is already in a terminal
status (`COMPLETED` / `FAILED` / `STOPPED`) or already `STOPPING`; it
returns the run unchanged. This fixes:
- bulk stop aborting on the first non-stoppable run in a
mixed/select-all selection,
- the click-vs-processing race on a single run (run finishes between
click and mutation).

It also releases the cached not-started throttle slot when stopping a
`NOT_STARTED` run (prevents counter drift), and ends runs with no
`state` directly.

### 2. Retry a failed run from the failing step
New `retryWorkflowRun` mutation (same guards/passthrough as
`stopWorkflowRun`). It resets the failed step(s) to `NOT_STARTED`, flips
the run to `RUNNING`, and enqueues a `RunWorkflowJob` with the steps to
re-execute; downstream execution and status computation are unchanged.

Logic lives in pure utils:
- `build-retry-step-infos.util.ts` - decides per failed step what to
reset; delegates iterator-specific logic to
`build-retry-iterator-step-infos.util.ts` (an iterator that failed
mid-loop is restored to `RUNNING` with cursor preserved, an iterator
that failed itself restarts its whole loop).
- `get-runnable-step-ids.util.ts` - reuses the executor's
`shouldExecuteStep` to also resume branches that never started (avoids
hangs), excluding loop-interior steps.

The service method only orchestrates; the job's status check is a race
guard (retriability is enforced in the service before enqueue).

A "Retry" command menu item surfaces only for `FAILED` runs
(`someEquals(selectedRecords, "status", "FAILED")`).

### 3. Keep the run diagram visible across regenerations
The run diagram is regenerated on every run state change, producing
fresh nodes without the dimensions Reactflow had measured. Reactflow
hides unmeasured nodes until it re-measures them, so the diagram could
flicker and disappear when the last regeneration before going idle left
nodes unmeasured (reproducible after retrying a failed run). The
regenerated nodes now carry over the previously measured dimensions (by
id) so they stay rendered.

Add workflow validation framework and consolidate output schema
types/search logic into twenty-shared

This PR introduces a comprehensive workflow validation system that
catches configuration errors at build-time, and consolidates the
fragmented output-schema type definitions and variable-search logic from
the front-end into twenty-shared

**Workflow validation** — A new system that checks workflows for errors
before activation: graph connectivity (unreachable steps, dangling
references), step parameter schemas (via Zod), variable references
(typos, wrong step order), and workspace metadata (non-existent
objects). Returns structured errors/warnings with "did you mean?"
suggestions. Runs automatically after create_complete_workflow and
update_workflow_version_step, and is also available as a standalone
validate_workflow tool.

**Output schema consolidation** — Moves all output schema types and the
variable-search logic from scattered front-end files into twenty-shared,
replacing ~800 lines of duplicated per-schema-type code with a single
unified searchVariableInOutputSchema dispatcher.

Weiko cfb9772179 feat(server): convert view to overridable entity (#21436)
## Context

Every entity created as a side effect of object creation must support
the overridable pattern (`isActive` + `overrides` + override routing)
before we can re-own side effects to their true application. Starting
with View.

viewField, viewFieldGroup, pageLayoutTab and pageLayoutWidget already
extend `OverridableEntity`. This PR brings `view` to the same pattern.

## What this does

- `ViewEntity` now extends `OverridableEntity<ViewOverrides>` (adds
`isActive` boolean + `overrides` jsonb). All editable view properties
are overridable; the 3 fieldMetadata foreign keys are converted to/from
universal identifiers like viewField's `viewFieldGroupId`.
- **Update**: mutations on a view not owned by the caller (e.g. standard
views like "All Companies") are written into `overrides` instead of
mutating the row. Reads merge overrides in
the DTO.
- **Delete/destroy**: views not owned by the caller are deactivated
(`isActive = false`) instead of deleted.
~~- **INDEX invariant**: `key = INDEX` views can only be created via
object-creation side effect. The API now rejects creating, deleting or
destroying INDEX views (object-deletion cascade is unaffected). This was
not really needed for this migration but was flagged during
implementation.~~
- **Front**: views with `isActive = false` are filtered out of the views
selector.
- Fast instance command adds the two columns
(`2-12-instance-command-fast-...-view-overridable-entity.ts`).

## Notes

- Custom (caller-owned) views behave exactly as before: direct updates,
soft delete.
- View-group side effects (kanban groups) are computed on the
override-merged view so overridden `mainGroupByFieldMetadataId` works.

Weiko 9c66975520 isCustom deprecation for Objects and Fields (#21228)
## Context

`isCustom` was a legacy denormalized boolean on `ObjectMetadataEntity`
and `FieldMetadataEntity`.
Now that every metadata row carries `applicationId` (via
`SyncableEntity`), "is this custom" is fully derivable, and the stored
boolean was a redundant second source of truth that could drift.

The real meaning of `isCustom` is **"the owning application is not the
twenty-standard application"** — i.e. `!belongsToTwentyStandardApp`.
Note this is *not* "belongs to the workspace custom app" as I initially
thought: third-party-application
objects/fields are custom too. 
The standard application has a globally stable `universalIdentifier`, so
the value derives with no per-workspace lookup.

Charles Bochet fcaf2b4d9b chore(twenty-server): temporary instrumentation for app-install 504 (#21365)
## Why

App installs on cloud intermittently fail with a 504, surfacing in
Sentry as `Migration action 'update' for 'logicFunction' failed` +
`Failed to rollback transaction: Query runner already released`. This is
**temporary instrumentation** to pin down where the time goes — to be
reverted once the bottleneck is fixed. Everything is greppable via
`[install-perf]` and marked `// TODO(install-perf)`.

## What the local repro already told us

I instrumented the manifest-sync/migration path and ran a local harness
(new skipped spec) installing **1 / 8 / 30 logic functions**, for both
create and the checksum-bump **update** (the incident path):

Nothing approached 1s, let alone 10s; no slow queries logged. So the
migration/cache code is **not** the algorithmic cause. Given the
in-transaction `UPDATE ... WHERE id=?` is intrinsically fast, a >10s in
prod almost certainly means it was **blocked on a lock**, and the 10s
node-pg `query_timeout` (`core.datasource.ts`) then killed the
connection → the observed errors + 504. Local can't reproduce prod lock
contention / table sizes, hence this instrumentation.

## What this adds (all `TODO`-marked)

- **hrtime per-stage timing** — flat-maps recompute, build vs run,
per-action (`>50ms`), transaction summary, post-commit cache
invalidation. Uses `process.hrtime` because the integration harness
enables fake timers (so `Date.now()` is useless there).
- **`maxQueryExecutionTime`** slow-query logging on the core datasource
(logs the offending SQL).
- **Scoped `SET LOCAL lock_timeout = '8s'`** on the migration
transaction (below the 10s `query_timeout`) → a blocked action fails
fast with a clear *"canceling statement due to lock timeout"* instead of
the opaque connection kill.
- **Best-effort `pg_stat_activity` snapshot on failure** (on a fresh
pooled connection) to identify the blocking session, plus a **guarded
rollback** so a released connection stops masking the real error.
- **Skipped local perf harness**
(`logic-function-install-performance.integration-spec.ts`) — run
manually with `nx test:integration:with-db-reset -- --testPathPattern
"logic-function-install-performance"`.

## How we'll use it

Deploy, reproduce the failing install, and read the `[install-perf]`
logs: the per-action timing names the action, the `lock_timeout` message
+ `pg_stat_activity` snapshot name the **blocking** query/PID. Then
revert this PR and fix the actual contention.

Typecheck (`nx typecheck twenty-server`) is clean.

Félix Malfait dfb3da1f8d feat(emailing-domain): add LOG driver for local development (#21286)
## What

Adds a `LOG` driver to the emailing-domain feature, selected via a new
`EMAILING_DOMAIN_DRIVER` config variable (defaults to `AWS_SES`, so
production behavior is unchanged).

The LOG driver:
- resolves domains to `VERIFIED` instantly (no DNS / SES setup)
- logs each `sendEmail` and returns a synthetic `messageId` instead of
calling SES

It also dev-seeds a pre-verified domain per workspace
(`<workspaceId>.dev.twenty.local`) so the feature works out of the box.

## Why

The emailing-domain feature currently ships only the AWS SES driver, so
the verify → send flow can't be exercised locally (or in CI) without
real AWS credentials. This unblocks local development and review of
anything built on emailing domains.

## Usage

Etienne b56fea69aa fix(ai) - optimize metadata CRUD tools (#21235)
Reduces output tokens for all 13 metadata tools by (~49%) based on
production sampling data.

GET tools (field + object metadata)

System fields are now returned as compact {id, name, type} instead of
the full ~20-key payload (opt-in includeFullSystemFields to get full
payload). System objects are similarly compacted to {id, nameSingular,
namePlural}.
Internal fields the agent never uses (searchVector, deletedAt, position,
updatedBy) are excluded entirely.
workspaceId and applicationId are hoisted into a response envelope
instead of being repeated on every record.
Null/default-false properties are stripped from custom field and object
payloads (e.g. options: null, settings: null, isUIReadOnly: false).

CUD tools (create/update/delete)

Create and update field tools now return {id, name, type, label} instead
of the full DTO.
Create and update object tools now return {id, nameSingular,
labelSingular} instead of the full DTO.
Delete tools return {id, success: true} instead of the full DTO of the
deleted entity.
Validation errors are grouped by message — e.g. 10 fields failing the
same check produce one line with all names instead of 10 identical
lines.

Learn schemas (all tools)

UUID pattern regex stripped from JSON schemas (keeps format: "uuid").
$schema and additionalProperties: false stripped from all generated
schemas.
All Zod .describe() annotations and tool descriptions shortened.
Skill & tool description updates:

All references to the removed list_object_metadata_items tool replaced
with get_object_metadata / get_field_metadata across skill instructions,
dashboard tools, view filter/sort tools, and MCP server instructions.

martmull 6c65d26ced feat(app-dev): add dry-run preview to dev sync (#21251)
Split out of #21240. Stacked on #21250 (review/merge that first).

`yarn twenty dev --once --dry-run` computes the migration plan and
prints the diff **without applying anything** (no migration, no
app-record update, no SDK generation). Also renders the diff on a normal
`dev --once` sync.

neo773 bfb83e93b2 fix(metadata): resolve junction targets order-independently during mgration (#21193)
A junction relation points at a target field on the join object that
another action may create later (two junctions into the same join
reference each other). The builder validator now also looks up the
target in the to be created set, and the runner mints every field id up
front so the target resolves regardless of action order, the same way
relation pairs are already handled.

nitin e485b679ea [Call Recording] Add standard object (#21158)
Adds **Call Recording** as a first-class standard object (Twenty's
flat-metadata
standard-object system), with a hidden junction to calendar events and a
backfill
command for existing workspaces. Everything is gated behind the
`IS_CALL_RECORDING_ENABLED` feature flag.

### What's included
- **`CallRecording`**: audio/video files, transcript, status, recording
policy,
timing, external bot/recording ids. Label identifier is
`meetingOccurrenceKey`.
- **`CallRecordingCalendarEventAssociation`**: hidden junction linking a
recording
to a calendar event (dedupes one bot to many subscribers of the same
meeting).
- Full metadata graph via the flat-metadata builders: fields, indexes,
views,
  view fields/groups, record page layout, and navigation items.
- **Metadata-only reverse relation** on `CalendarEvent`: present in
standard
metadata, omitted from the TS entity class to avoid expanding recursive
  nested-insert types.
- **Upgrade command (2.9.0)** backfilling active/suspended workspaces:
  - Creates the full graph; idempotent (skips when it already exists).
- Moves a colliding custom `callRecording` object aside to
`callRecordingOld`
    (numeric suffix if that name is also taken).
- Navigation items (commands) are flag-gated by `universalIdentifier`,
so a custom object
    reusing the name is never gated.

### QA
Run locally against existing workspaces (with and without a name
collision) and a
freshly created workspace:
- [x] Backfill, collision: custom `callRecording` renamed to

## Why

Our standard `Person`/`Company` objects accumulated fields that aren't
generic to every
business, while missing a more universal revenue field that essentially
every CRM ships.
This PR makes the **Standard application** hold a tighter, more
universal set of fields,
and sets the stage for a follow-up PR that introduces a **People Data
Labs enrichment app**
to populate them.

2. **`upgrade:2-9:rename-conflicting-custom-fields`** (1799000045000) —
if a workspace already
has a *custom* field named `annualRevenue`, renames it to
`annualRevenueCustom`
(data preserved via column rename) so the standard field can be added.
Skips non-custom matches.
3. **`upgrade:2-9:add-inactive-generic-standard-fields`**
(1799000050000) — creates
`Company.annualRevenue` on existing workspaces as inactive, guarded to
skip workspaces
   missing the target object or where the name is still taken.

**Failure model:** the workspace iterator isolates failures per
workspace (one workspace failing
never affects others); within a workspace the runner records per-command
status and resumes on the
next run, and every command is idempotent, so partial runs self-heal.

### Supporting changes

* **Field-option color palette:** widened the `TagColor` union
(`twenty-shared` `FieldMetadataOptions`
+ the field-metadata `options.input` DTO) from 10 colors to the full
theme palette, benefiting any
  future SELECT/MULTI_SELECT field.
* **Dev seeder:**
* The default "Annual Recurring Revenue" dashboard widget now points at
the generic
    `annualRevenue` field (renamed to "Annual Revenue").
* Removed the "Companies by Size (Stacked by City)" widget (relied on
the demoted `employees`).
* `employees` is dropped from company data seeds and re-added as a
**custom** field seed, so dev
workspaces still get an `employees` column matching the demoted
behavior.

### Cleanup

Front-end record types (`Company.ts`/`Person.ts`), the
`getDisplayNameFromParticipant` test mock,
metadata integration specs, the Zapier `crud_record` test, and the
regenerated
`get-standard-object-metadata-related-entity-ids` snapshot.

## ⚠️ Breaking change (intentional)

Removes standard fields `Company.annualRecurringRevenue`,
`Company.employees`,
`Company.idealCustomerProfile`, `Company.xLink`, `Person.xLink`, and
`Person.city` from the core
GraphQL schema (replaced by `Company.annualRevenue`).

This is why the breaking-changes check reports a large number of
removals — `graphql-inspector`
flags any removed object field plus its derived
aggregate/order-by/filter/update types.

**Mitigation:** the
`upgrade:2-9:move-demoted-standard-fields-to-custom-application` command
re-owns these fields as custom fields per workspace, preserving their
name and data, so existing
tenants keep working. New workspaces won't have them.

Etienne 15eaabdbc1 fix(ai) - optimize crud tools (#21133)
- **Add delete many**, `delete_many_{object}` added alongside the
existing `delete_one_{object}`.
- **Uniformize naming**, crud module, type names, and MCP helper
constants renamed for consistency.
- **Optimize tool schema (learn phase)**
  - `find_many(_companies)`: **7 158 → 2 700 tokens**
  - `find_one(_company)`: **280 → 126 tokens**
  -  ....
- Main mechanism: `reused: 'ref'` (line 7 of
`to-tool-json-schema.util.ts`). Zod walks the schema tree, tracks which
Zod schema instances appear more than once, and emits each reused
instance exactly once in `$defs`, replacing all subsequent occurrences
with a `$ref`. Works because filter and value schemas are now extracted
as shared objects.

- **Optimize system prompt (tool catalog)**, DATABASE_CRUD section
restructured to list operation patterns (`find_many_{object}`, …) once +
objects once, instead of the full N×M cross-product of tool names.
- **Optimize execute_tool**, shared record-properties schema (same
`$defs` deduplication applies at call time); introduced `upsert_many`;
added `selectedFields` to `find_*` so the agent only fetches the fields

Marie 4b15b949f3 Provide additional logsobservability to workflow runs (per node) (#21142)
Surfaces per-step "Logs" tabs in the workflow run side panel so users
can see what each step actually did (model + tokens + tool calls for AI,
console output for serverless functions, request/response for HTTP,
recipients/body for Email).

## Storage

- New `stepLogs` JSONB column on the `workflowRun` workspace entity,
typed as `Record<string, WorkflowRunStepLog>` (keyed by step id).
- Schema lives in `twenty-shared`: `workflowRunStepLogSchema` with a
discriminated `details.type` union for `AI_AGENT | CODE | HTTP_REQUEST |
EMAIL` — frontends and backends consume the same Zod-inferred type.
- Field is added to existing workspaces via a workspace upgrade command
(`2-9 add-workflow-run-step-logs-field`); the standard-object metadata
declares it for new workspaces.
- Writes happen atomically per step in
`WorkflowRunStepLogWorkspaceService.setStepLog` using `jsonb_set`. That
lets concurrent steps in the same run write their own keys without
contending with the existing lock around `workflowRun.state`.
- Per-step payload is hard-capped at 256 KB; anything larger is dropped
with a `logger.warn`, so a pathological tool call can never bloat a row.
See below for more information.

## How logs are produced

**Aalmost everything was already being collected; this PR mostly
persists and renders it.**

- **AI agent** — `AgentAsyncExecutorService` already tracked token
usage, model id, native web-search count, and the AI SDK's `steps[]`. We
map those into the log via `mapAiStepsToToolCallLogs` (`searchVector`
stripped from record outputs, per-call input/output capped at 32/64 KB,
max 200 tool calls per step). The only new measurement is a wall-clock
`durationMs` taken around `executeAgent`, and we now fold native
web-search cost into the displayed `totalCostInDollars` (it was already
billed, just not shown).
- **Code / serverless function** — reuses the `console.log` output the
function runner already returns (`logsByLevel`);
`build-code-step-log.util` only repackages it.
- **HTTP request** — built from the action's existing input/output via
`build-http-request-step-log.util`. No new signals collected.
- **Email (send / draft)** — added `sanitizedHtmlBody` + `plainTextBody`
to the existing tool outputs (a small additive change), then
`build-email-step-log.util` consumes them.

No additional AI inference or external calls are made for logging — the
cost is a small CPU overhead per step plus the JSONB write.

## Security

The log surface intentionally shows whatever the workflow touched, which
made redaction and sanitization the main design concern.

- **HTTP — secrets in headers**: existing `SENSITIVE_HEADER_NAMES` set
(Authorization, Cookie, …) replaced with `[redacted]` in both request
and response.
- **HTTP — secrets in URLs**: `SENSITIVE_URL_PARAM_NAMES` (e.g.
`api_key`, `token`, `access_token`) replaced in the query string via
`URL`-based parsing.
- **HTTP — secrets in bodies**: `SENSITIVE_BODY_KEY_REGEX` deep-walks
JSON request/response bodies (object input or stringified JSON) and
redacts matching keys. Applied to the `error` field too, since
transport-layer errors sometimes embed structured payloads.
- **Email — XSS risk in body preview**: tool outputs now expose a
server-side `sanitizedHtmlBody`; the log builder prefers it over the raw
user-authored `input.body`, with `plainTextBody` as a second fallback.
The original raw body is only used if sanitization didn't happen (e.g.
tool failed before composing).
- **AI — internal/noisy data**: `searchVector` (Postgres tsvector
strings) is stripped from record outputs returned by Twenty tools to
avoid leaking internal full-text-search payloads.
- **DB bloat / runaway agents**: 256 KB per-step cap + 32 KB / 64 KB
per-tool-call input/output cap + 200 tool calls per step.

## More details on Log size & truncation

Logs are stored in `workflowRun.stepLogs` (JSONB), keyed by `stepId`.

### Per-step cap

Each step's log is hard-capped at **256 KB** (`MAX_STEP_LOG_BYTES` in
`WorkflowRunStepLogWorkspaceService.setStepLog`).

For ~99% of workflows this is roomy — typical real-world sizes:
- Code / serverless function: 1–20 KB
- HTTP request: 5–70 KB
- Email: 5–30 KB
- AI agent (a handful of tool calls): 5–50 KB

### Two layers of bounding

1. **Per-field truncation** in each builder (before writing):
   - **Code**: ≤ 500 entries, ≤ 4 KB per message, ≤ 8 KB stack trace
   - **HTTP**: ≤ 32 KB per body (request + response), UTF-8 byte-aware
   - **Email**: ≤ 8 KB body preview, UTF-8 byte-aware
- **AI agent**: ≤ 32 KB tool input, ≤ 64 KB tool output, ≤ 200 tool
calls/step

2. **Global per-step safety net** at write time: if the assembled
`stepLog` still exceeds 256 KB, the write is **dropped entirely** with a
`logger.warn`. The workflow itself keeps running unaffected.

### What this means in practice

- **Safe**: workflow execution, step results, downstream steps — never
blocked by log size.
- **Safe**: iterators (each iteration overwrites the previous log for
that `stepId`, so they can't accumulate).
- **Safe**: step retries (same `stepId` is overwritten, not appended).
- **Possible**: an AI agent step with many large tool outputs (e.g., 50+
heavy `web_search` calls) can exceed 256 KB → the **entire** step's log
is dropped, side panel shows "No logs were recorded for this step". The
user has no explicit signal that the log was dropped due to size (only
server-side warn).
- **Possible** (theoretical): a workflow with hundreds of distinct steps
could push the row toward Postgres's internal ~256 MB jsonb limit.
Beyond that, individual `jsonb_set` writes would error and be swallowed
by the action's try/catch — workflow still completes.

### Possible future hardening (not in this PR)

- Replace "drop entire log" with a stub that preserves the summary card
(cost, duration, status) and marks `truncated.reason = 'size_cap'`.
- Surface size-drops in the UI (similar to the existing
`<StyledTruncatedNotice>`).
- Emit a metric so dropped logs are observable in dashboards.

Charles Bochet cb744b2eeb refactor(twenty-server): collapse workspace migration build orchestrator (#21144)
## Why

`WorkspaceMigrationBuildOrchestratorService.buildWorkspaceMigration` was
1117 lines of 30 near-identical copy-pasted blocks (one per metadata
entity) plus a 165-line ordered `actions: [...]` literal. Adding a new
entity meant copying ~30 lines and hoping the boilerplate stayed in
sync; the actual per-entity execution order was buried in the noise.


## Gain

- Orchestrator: **1117 → 388 lines**
- Net diff: **-558 lines**
- Adding a new entity is now a single line in the registry
- Execution order is visible at a glance

Félix Malfait 431f6ae98f feat(settings): move settings chrome into a single rounded card (#21131)
## What

Replaces `SubMenuTopBarContainer` with a settings-specific
`SettingsPageLayout` that puts the whole page chrome — breadcrumb,
centered title, actions, an optional secondary bar (tabs or wizard
step), and the 760px body — inside **one rounded card**, with
`SidePanelForDesktop` as a sibling. Title, tabs and body content share
one centered vertical axis at every card width.

Supersedes #21122. One PR, no feature flag.

## New components (`@/settings/components/layout/`)

- **SettingsPageLayout** — owns the rounded card + side-panel sibling,
`useCommandMenuHotKeys`, mobile command menu
- **SettingsPageHeader** — breadcrumb · centered title · actions in a
symmetric `1fr auto 1fr` grid (symmetric padding throughout)
- **SettingsSecondaryBar** — the secondary row, bracketed by top +
bottom borders
- **SettingsTabBar** — centered tabs reusing `activeTabIdComponentState`
+ `TabListFromUrlOptionalEffect` for URL-hash sync (does not touch the
shared `TabList`)

## Migrations

- Bulk rename across ~80 call sites (`SubMenuTopBarContainer` →
`SettingsPageLayout`); old component deleted.
- 5 tab pages (AI, APIs & Webhooks, Applications, Members, Role) + the
Data Model object-detail page render their tabs in `secondaryBar`
(object-detail keeps "See records" / "New Field" in the header actions).
- The 2 role object-level steps render the wizard step bar with working
back navigation.
- Accounts consolidated into **General / Emails / Calendars** tabs;
standalone `SettingsAccountsEmails` / `SettingsAccountsCalendars` pages
+ routes + stories removed. `SettingsPath.AccountsEmails` /
`AccountsCalendars` now resolve to `accounts#emails` /
`accounts#calendars`, so existing `getSettingsPath()` links deep-link to
the right tab via the existing hash sync — no call-site changes.

## Verification

- `nx typecheck twenty-front` and `nx lint twenty-front` both clean.
- Browser (logged-in workspace): title / tab / body / card centers align
on a single axis at multiple widths — width-invariant, so alignment
holds when the AI side panel (a sibling) shrinks the card. Rounded card
with even gaps on all four sides; tab row bracketed by two 1px lines;
no-tab pages render header → body with no lines; wizard back navigation
works; `…/accounts#emails` opens the Emails tab.

The shared `PageHeader` and `TabList` are untouched. The settings side
panel itself isn't wired to open yet — that's a follow-up PR.

Charles Bochet 58907b733c feat(logic-function): add LIVE / PREBUILT execution modes (#20873)
## Summary

### Why

1. Sending the code to the lambda (~1Mb usually) is heavy on network and
results to a constant traffic of ~30Mb/s on AWS which results into TB of
network data every month
2. eval(1MB of code) is not that fast, it's heavy on memory and CPU on
lambda side

### High level

Adds two execution modes for logic functions, gated behind the new
`IS_LOGIC_FUNCTION_PREBUILT_MODE_ENABLED` workspace feature flag (off
everywhere by default):

- **LIVE** (current behavior, preserved bit-for-bit): the compiled
bundle is read from object storage and shipped in every Lambda invoke
payload. Used for fast iteration in the workflow editor / Settings test
runs.
- **PREBUILT** (new): the bundle is installed onto the per-function
Lambda alongside the unified executor, and invocations carry only `{
params, env, handlerName }` — saving JSON payload egress and warm-start
`import()` cost on every call.

### Key design choices

- **Unified Lambda handler** (`constants/executor/index.mjs`) dispatches
at runtime: `event.code` present ? LIVE (write to `/tmp`, dynamic
import) : `import('./prebuilt-logic-function.mjs')`. Both code paths
always coexist on the deployment package, so the same Lambda can serve
either mode without redeploying.
- **Install runs inside the `validateBuildAndRun` migration pipeline**,
not at execute time. `Create/UpdateLogicFunctionActionHandlerService`
calls `driver.installPrebuiltBundle` when `executionMode` flips
LIVE?PREBUILT or `checksum` changes while PREBUILT, gated on
`isBuildUpToDate=true` and a fresh checksum.
- **Strict execute, no reconciliation**:
`LogicFunctionExecutorService.execute` resolves `effectiveExecutionMode`
(caller override > feature flag > entity column). For PREBUILT it asks
the driver `getInstalledBundleChecksum` (Lambda `twenty:bundle-checksum`
tag for AWS, sidecar file locally) and throws
`LOGIC_FUNCTION_PREBUILT_BUNDLE_NOT_INSTALLED` on mismatch.
- **Feature flag gates every side effect**: with the flag off the
executor forces LIVE, the action-handler install hooks bail before AWS,
and workflow activation does not flip the mode. Rollback is just turning
the flag off.

### Lifecycle

- New workflow CODE step ? `LIVE`, no install.
- Workflow activated ? build + activation flips `executionMode=PREBUILT`
? action-handler installs the bundle + sets the Lambda tag.
- Draft from active version ? duplicated logic function reset to `LIVE`.
- App install ? manifest converter sets `PREBUILT`, create-action
handler installs.
- Test runs (`executeOneFromSource`, workflow editor) pass
`executionMode=LIVE` explicitly.

### Observability

`[lambda-timing]` log lines now include `effectiveExecutionMode` and
`payloadBytes`; the action handler logs `install_duration_ms` for each
install.
