Etienne c6309fd92b feat(workflow): auto-layout steps on AI workflow creation via shared tidy-up (#21756)
## Context

The workflow builder has a "Tidy up" action that auto-positions steps
using a
Dagre layout. However, this lived entirely in the frontend and depended
on node
dimensions measured by React Flow after rendering in the browser.

As a result, workflows (and steps) created through AI Chat / MCP tools
were never
laid out: `create_complete_workflow` accepted optional `stepPositions`
that the
LLM had to invent, and `create_workflow_version_step` stored an optional
position
verbatim. In practice this produced overlapping / poorly positioned
steps.

## What this does

Extracts the tidy-up layout into a pure, frontend-free util in
`twenty-shared` and
reuses it from both the frontend tidy-up and the server, so
AI/MCP-created
workflows are auto-laid out at creation time.

### twenty-shared
- New `computeWorkflowLayout({ nodes, edges, options? })` — a pure Dagre
layout over
a minimal `{ id, width, height }` / `{ source, target }` graph,
returning
top-left-anchored positions (matching React Flow). Ignores edges
pointing to
  unknown nodes.
- New constants: `WORKFLOW_LAYOUT_DEFAULT_OPTIONS`
(ranksep/nodesep/rankdir) and
`WORKFLOW_DIAGRAM_DEFAULT_NODE_DIMENSIONS` (estimated node size for
server-side
layout, where measured sizes are unavailable).
- Added `@dagrejs/dagre` dependency.

### twenty-front
- `getOrganizedDiagram` now delegates to `computeWorkflowLayout`,
passing real
measured node sizes. No behavior change for users.

### twenty-server
- New `WorkflowVersionWorkspaceService.autoLayoutWorkflowVersion(...)`
builds the
graph topology via the existing `buildWorkflowGraph` (covers if-else
branches and
iterator loops), feeds estimated node sizes into
`computeWorkflowLayout`, and
  persists through the existing `updateWorkflowVersionPositions`.
- `create_complete_workflow`: removed `stepPositions` from the tool
schema; the
server always auto-lays out after creation/edges.
- `create_workflow_version_step`: re-tidies the whole version after each
added step
(wired at the tool level so the builder UI is unaffected) and dropped
the now
  redundant `position` field.

## Notes
- Server-side layout uses estimated node sizes, so it is "good enough";
opening the
workflow and running the existing FE tidy-up refines it with real
measured sizes.
- Auto-layout is wired in the MCP tools, not in the shared creation
service, so
manual step creation in the builder UI is unchanged.

## Test plan
- [x] `twenty-shared` unit tests for `computeWorkflowLayout` (linear
chain, if-else
  spread, dangling-edge safety)
- [x] `twenty-shared` builds; `twenty-server` and `twenty-front`
typecheck
- [x] Lint/format clean on changed files
- [ ] Create a workflow via AI Chat / MCP and confirm steps are laid out
without
  overlap
- [x] Add a step via MCP and confirm the version is re-tidied
- [ ] Frontend "Tidy up" still behaves as before

Charles Bochet 869680a5a1 fix(deps): esbuild ^0.28.1 floors + vite 7→8 (rolldown) upgrade (#21517)
## What this does

Resolves the remaining esbuild security alerts on packages we own, and
upgrades the repo to **Vite 8** (which drops esbuild entirely in favour
of rolldown/oxc).

### 1. esbuild → `^0.28.1` (security)
- Raised the declared `esbuild` floor in `twenty-sdk` and the
logic-function common-layer (both were `^0.25.0`, which can only resolve
to a vulnerable version). These are our packages, so this is just
declaring the patched version — clears Dependabot **#1467** and
**#1468**.

### 2. Vite 7 → 8
- Bumped `vite` to `^8` in the 5 packages that declare it, and
`@vitejs/plugin-react-swc` to `^4.3.1` (the only plugin that needed a
bump for Vite 8; everything else already supports it).
- `twenty-front` keeps esbuild minification, so esbuild is now an
explicit (patched) devDependency there — Vite 8 no longer ships it.

### Two Vite-8 fallout fixes (bundler internals changed)
- **Storybook tests:** added React to `optimizeDeps.include` so Vite's
dep optimizer doesn't re-bundle React mid-run and break in-flight
imports in browser-mode tests.
- **`hex-rgb`:** it's ESM-only and broke rolldown's CJS interop (a
default import resolved to the wrong thing under jest). Replaced its one
use with a tiny inline hex→rgb parse and dropped the dependency.

## Verified
Vite resolves to a single `8.0.16` with no esbuild in its tree. Builds
pass on Vite 8/rolldown: `twenty-front` production build, the SDKs, and
Storybook; the previously-failing front and storybook test jobs now
pass; `yarn install --immutable` is clean.

## Note
This doesn't close root alert **#1469** — esbuild is still pulled by
other third-party tools (storybook, tsx, lingui, zapier, etc.) that
haven't shipped a patched release. The vulnerable code path (esbuild's
dev server) isn't used here, so that one is best dismissed as
not-affected.

Charles Bochet 184c4948d6 security: strip Node dev headers from images + lingui 5.9.5 (drops vulnerable esbuild) (#21448)
## Context

AWS Inspector flags the `prod-twenty` image (built from current main)
with 16 findings, and Dependabot alert 174 flags esbuild. This PR fixes
the OpenSSL scanner findings and the esbuild CVE. The typeorm bump
(CVE-2025-60542) was **pulled out of this PR** — see "typeorm status"
below.

## Changes

### Strip `/usr/local/include/node` from runtime stages
(`twenty-server`, `twenty-app-dev`)
15 OpenSSL CVEs (June 9 advisory, incl. CRITICAL CVE-2026-34182) are all
detected via **Node's bundled OpenSSL dev headers**: 3 GENERIC
`openssl/openssl` 3.5.6 detections per CVE at
`/usr/local/include/node/openssl/archs/linux-x86_64/{asm,asm_avx2,no-asm}/include/openssl/opensslv.h`.
The headers are only needed by node-gyp and native addons are compiled
in the build stages — nothing compiles at runtime. Dropping them clears
all 45 detection instances and permanently ends this class of finding
(third occurrence: 3.5.5 → 3.5.6 → 3.5.7). None of these CVEs are
reachable through Node (no CMS/PKCS#7 API, `pfx` is operator-supplied,
Node's QUIC uses ngtcp2, ASN.1 issues need ~2GB inputs).

**Follow-up (~June 17, 2026):** the `node` binary itself still
statically links OpenSSL 3.5.6 — invisible to the scanner after this PR
and unreachable in practice, but the real fix is bumping the pinned
`node:24-alpine` digest once the [announced June 17 Node.js security
releases](https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/june-2026-security-releases)
ship a 24.x linking OpenSSL ≥ 3.5.7 (verify via
`deps/openssl/openssl/VERSION.dat` on the release tag — 24.16.0 is still
on 3.5.6). A dated TODO sits next to the cleanup in the Dockerfile.

### esbuild dev-server CORS CVE (Dependabot alert 174,
GHSA-67mh-4wv8-2f99)
`@lingui/cli@5.1.2` (pins `esbuild ^0.21.5`) was the last parent
resolving a vulnerable esbuild (≤ 0.24.2 lets any website send requests
to the dev server and read responses). Instead of a resolution override,
this bumps the lockstepped **lingui suite 5.1.2 → 5.9.5** (within-major;
lingui adopted `esbuild ^0.25.1` in 5.4.1), which:

- removes `esbuild@0.21.5` and all its platform packages from the
lockfile with no forced ranges;
- drops the `@lingui/core` lockstep resolution (its comment marked it
droppable on the next coordinated lingui bump — the tree now resolves a
single `@lingui/core@5.9.5`);
- `@lingui/swc-plugin` stays at `^5.11.0` (peers on `@lingui/core: 5`;
its 6.x line targets lingui 6).

**lingui 5.9.5 behavioral fallout handled here:**
- Translation functions now **throw without an active locale** (5.1.2
fell back silently). The global `i18n` singleton that backs server-side
`` t`…` `` calls only had a messages compiler set, never an activated
locale → activate the source locale in `I18nService.loadTranslations()`,
mirrored in the server jest setup (unit tests bypass Nest bootstrap).
- `msg`/`t` placeholders are now strictly typed (reject
`null`/`undefined`/`unknown`) → one server call site and 16 twenty-front
files adapted with minimal nullish-coalescing fixes that preserve
rendering.
- `.po`/compiled-catalog churn from the new extractor/compiler
(reference reordering, sorted keys — verified content-identical on
unchanged `.po` inputs) is intentionally not committed: the scheduled
i18n workflows regenerate those.

## typeorm status (pulled out)

typeorm 0.3.20 → 0.3.26 was originally in this PR but **made workspace
metadata sync intermittently lossy**: `example-app-postcard` failed
twice with a *different* field missing from the synced PostCard object
each run, and one integration shard's `DataSeedWorkspaceCommand` died
with "Could not find flat entity with universal identifier …" — versus
zero such failures on recent main. Local runs (db reset + seed, group-by
integration suite 19/19) pass, so it is a nondeterministic
CI-load-sensitive regression that needs dedicated debugging (typeorm
changed LIMIT/OFFSET 0 semantics, lazy count for `getManyAndCount`,
upsert WHERE construction, and topological-sort internals in that
range). The resolutions comment documents this as the blocker;
CVE-2025-60542 is MySQL-driver-only (`sqlstring`), so Postgres-only
Twenty is not exposed in the meantime.

## Verification

- `npx nx typecheck twenty-server` / `twenty-front` — clean (no cache)
- `npx nx test twenty-server` — full suite green
- `lingui:extract` + `lingui:compile` — clean for twenty-server /
twenty-emails / twenty-front
- `oxfmt --check` — clean for both packages
- Lockfile diff: lingui 5.9.5 entries, `esbuild@0.21.5` +
`@esbuild/*@0.21.5` platform packages removed, no typeorm changes

Charles Bochet 0d8d463a44 security: clear all High minimatch Dependabot alerts via parent bumps (#21373)
## What

Clears **all 14 High `minimatch` ReDoS alerts** (GHSA-7r86-cg39-jmmj,
GHSA-23c5-xmqv-rm74, GHSA-3ppc-4f35-3m26) in the root tree — **by
bumping the actual parent dev tools, with no `resolutions`/overrides**.
Each parent that pinned a vulnerable minimatch is upgraded so the
patched version resolves naturally.

| Vulnerable minimatch | Pinned by | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| 10.0.3 | `@microsoft/api-extractor` 7.55.1 | → 7.58.7 (in-range
refresh) → minimatch 10.2.3 |
| 3.1.2 | `@stoplight/spectral-core` 1.20.0 | → 1.23.0 (in-range
refresh) → minimatch ^3.1.4 |
| 3.0.8 | `vite-plugin-dts` 3.8.1 → api-extractor 7.43.0 | bump to
`^4.5.4` (already used elsewhere here) → minimatch 10.2.3 |
| 4.2.3 | `graphql-config` 4.5.0 via `@graphql-codegen/cli` ^3.3.1 |
bump cli to `^5.0.7` → graphql-config 5.1.6 → minimatch ^10 |
| 9.0.3 | `zapier-platform-cli` ^15.4.1 | bump to `^19.0.0` |
| 7.4.6 | `verdaccio` 6.5.2 → `@verdaccio/core` 8.0.0-next | refresh to
6.7.2 → core 8.1.1 → minimatch 7.4.9 |

All six are **build/test tooling** — the ReDoS exposure is build-time,
never shipped to users.

## Verification

- Every resolved `minimatch` in `yarn.lock` is now ≥ its patched floor
(3.1.5 / 7.4.9 / 9.0.9 / 10.2.3+). No `resolutions` added.
- `nx build`: twenty-shared, twenty-ui, twenty-ui-deprecated,
twenty-emails (validates vite-plugin-dts v4)
- twenty-zapier: typecheck + build + `zapier validate` (35/35 checks
pass; cli 19 + core 15.5.1)
- twenty-front: typecheck; `graphql:generate` with codegen cli 5
produces **byte-identical** output (no generated-file changes in this
PR)
- `yarn install --immutable` clean

## Notes

- The large `yarn.lock` diff is expected: major bumps to codegen (3→5),
zapier-cli (15→19), and vite-plugin-dts (3→4) cascade through dev-tree
transitives (net −1244 lines after dedup).
- `zapier-platform-core` (runtime) intentionally left at 15.5.1 — only
the CLI (dev tool) carried the vulnerable minimatch; `zapier validate`
flags only a non-blocking "consider upgrading core" suggestion.
- codegen plugins (`typescript`/`typescript-operations`) left at v3:
they run fine under cli 5 and produce identical output, so the minimal
change is just the cli bump.

Charles Bochet 13e8e26d1c security: bump uuid 9 → 11 (server, shared, front) (#21326)
Clears the `uuid` "missing buffer bounds check in v3/v5/v6" advisory —
patched in **11.1.1**. Bumps `twenty-server`, `twenty-shared`,
`twenty-front` from 9 → `^11.1.1`.

### Why 11 and not 13
uuid **11.1.x still ships a CommonJS build**, so jest loads it with **no
config changes**. uuid went **ESM-only at v12+**, which would otherwise
force `transformIgnorePatterns` workarounds across the jest projects
(and broke server/integration/storybook CI on the earlier 13 attempt).
11.1.1 is the actual patched version, so this is the minimal fix.

### Changes
- `uuid` → `^11.1.1` in the three workspaces (lockfile regenerated under
hardened mode)
- one test (`useCreateManyRecords.test.tsx`): pin the mocked `v4` to its
string-returning overload — uuid's types declare a `Uint8Array` overload
that `jest.mocked` resolves to (present in v11 too, unrelated to ESM).

All usages are named imports, so no source migration. typecheck passes
(server/shared/front); affected specs pass. **No jest config changes.**

Charles Bochet d2e7dc0e74 security: bump vulnerable direct dependencies (axios, next, vitest, qs, dompurify, …) (#21309)
## What

Within-major version bumps of **direct** dependencies to clear a large
batch of Dependabot alerts that are breaching (or near) their SLA. No
major-version changes — all stay within the current major, so risk is
low.

| Package | From → To | Clears |
|---|---|---|
| `axios` | ^1.13.5 → ^1.16.0 | ReDoS, Proxy-Auth leak, proto-pollution
gadgets, NO_PROXY bypass, resource DoS (56 alerts) |
| `next` | 16.1.7 → ^16.2.6 | DoS, middleware/proxy bypass, SSRF, cache
poisoning, XSS (32 alerts) |
| `vitest` | 4.0.18 → ^4.1.0 | **CRITICAL** — UI server arbitrary file
read/exec (#1421) |
| `qs` | ^6.11.2 → ^6.15.2 | `qs.stringify` DoS |
| `dompurify` | 3.3.3 → ^3.4.0 | proto-pollution XSS + FORBID_TAGS /
SAFE_FOR_TEMPLATES bypasses |
| `@nestjs/core` | 11.1.16 → ^11.1.18 | improper output neutralization /
injection |
| `nodemailer` | 8.0.4 → 8.0.10 | SMTP command injection via CRLF
(bumped via root `resolutions`) |
| `path-to-regexp` | ^8.2.0 → ^8.4.0 | ReDoS via multiple wildcards |
| `file-type` | ^21.3.1 → ^21.3.2 | ZIP decompression-bomb DoS |
| `@opentelemetry/exporter-prometheus` | ^0.211.0 → ^0.217.0 | exporter
process crash via malformed HTTP request (#1183/#1184) |

## Notes
- Added a `next` root **resolution** so the dev-only
`@react-email/preview-server` copy (hard-pinned at `16.0.10`) is also
pulled up to the patched `16.2.x` line — otherwise that copy keeps the
Next.js alerts open.
- `@opentelemetry/exporter-prometheus` 0.217 pulled
`@opentelemetry/sdk-metrics` to 2.7.1 (compatible); `@opentelemetry/api`
stays pinned at 1.9.1.
- **Transitive-only** vulnerable packages (undici, tmp, ws,
brace-expansion, …) are handled in a **separate PR** per the
split-by-group plan.
- Breaking major bumps (electron, uuid, serialize-javascript) and
migrations (Apollo Server 3→4, simplemde) are intentionally **out of
scope** here.

Charles Bochet 7aa2afc67e fix(shared): add uuid, @types/uuid, @types/qs for Docker CD (#20222)
## Summary

- `twenty-shared` imports `uuid` (in `actor.composite-type.ts` and
`createAnyFieldRecordFilterBaseProperties.ts`) and `qs` (in
`getAppPath.ts`, `getSettingsPath.ts`), but `uuid` was not declared in
`twenty-shared/package.json` and `@types/uuid` / `@types/qs` were
missing as devDependencies.
- After scoped/hoisted deps (#20140) those types/runtime came from the
root `package.json` and are no longer guaranteed in the Docker
`common-deps` graph, so `twenty-shared:build` (pulled in before
`twenty-website-new` build) fails with `TS7016: Could not find a
declaration file for module 'uuid' / 'qs'` in the CD pipeline (see
[twenty-infra run
25309442711](https://github.com/twentyhq/twenty-infra/actions/runs/25309442711)).
- Same shape of fix as #20219 which added `@types/lodash.camelcase`.

## Test plan

- [x] `npx nx build twenty-shared` succeeds locally
- [ ] CD pipeline succeeds for `Build website-new`
2026-05-04 11:03:23 +02:00
Charles Bochet a025dc368b fix(shared): @types/lodash.camelcase for Docker CD (#20219)
Adds `@types/lodash.camelcase` to `twenty-shared`.

**Why:** `lodash.camelcase` has no bundled types. Those types used to
come from the root `devDependencies`; after scoped/hoisted deps
(#20140), they are no longer guaranteed in the Docker `common-deps`
graph, so `twenty-shared:build` (pulled in before server Lingui) fails
with TS7016. Declaring the types on the package that imports
`lodash.camelcase` fixes CD.

Taking care of keeping non imported module used at build/ci level in the
root package.json

## Motivation
Avoid redundant deps declaration, better scoping allow better workspace
deps granularity installation.

Abdullah. 51384bc085 refactor: optimize website visual runtime (#20120)
Refactors the website visual runtime to make WebGL-heavy sections more
reliable and less expensive.

This adds shared image/model loading caches, safer WebGL context
recovery, staggered visual mounting, and static rendering for decorative
Helped card visuals. It also removes a large bespoke Helped renderer in
favor of the shared halftone model canvas, reduces scroll/layout work in
the Helped section, and cleans up duplicated model-loading code across
several visuals.

Abdullah. a90895e167 [Website] locale-segment routing and shared Lingui factory (#20079)
**1. Shared Lingui factory in `twenty-shared`**

- Extracted `createI18nInstanceFactory` into
`packages/twenty-shared/src/i18n/create-i18n-instance-factory.ts` so
every package gets the same per-render Lingui bootstrap with a
per-locale singleton cache and a `SOURCE_LOCALE` fallback.
- `twenty-emails/src/utils/i18n.utils.ts` now consumes the shared
factory.

**2. `twenty-website-new` Lingui bootstrap + Crowdin wiring**

- `lingui.config.ts`, `src/lib/i18n/*`, `nx run
twenty-website-new:lingui:{extract,compile}`.
- 31 locale PO files generated; minified compiled output kept out of
Prettier and Oxlint.
- `i18n-{push,pull}.yaml` workflows updated to include
`twenty-website-new` in Crowdin sync.

**3. `app/[locale]/...` segment routing with English at the root**

- All marketing routes moved under `src/app/[locale]/`; static
generation preserved (15 routes × 31 locales = 465 prerendered URLs).
- Middleware behavior:
  - `/{en}/...` → 301 redirect to unprefixed canonical.
  - `/{non-en}/...` → pass through, set `NEXT_LOCALE` cookie.

### What this PR explicitly does not do (deferred)

- Lingui-wrapping the actual marketing copy. Keys, build pipeline, and
runtime are wired; copy migration is a separate, reviewer-friendlier
  PR.

Bennett 2ae6a9bb98 fix: bump handlebars to 4.7.9 (CVE-2026-33937) (#19288)
## Summary
- Bumps `handlebars` from `^4.7.8` to `^4.7.9` in
`packages/twenty-shared`

## Why
- **CVE-2026-33937** — Prototype pollution via crafted template input
- **GHSA-2w6w-674q-4c4q** — Related handlebars security advisory
- Severity: **Critical** (CVSS 9.8)
- Detected by Trivy and Grype scanning `twentycrm/twenty:v1.20.0`

## What changed
- `packages/twenty-shared/package.json`: `"handlebars": "^4.7.8"` →
`"^4.7.9"`
- `yarn.lock`: updated accordingly

## Impact
`handlebars` is used in `packages/twenty-shared` for template
evaluation. The fix patches the prototype pollution vector without any
API changes.

## Test plan
- [ ] `yarn build` passes
- [ ] `yarn test` passes in twenty-shared
- [ ] Template evaluation works as before

Raphaël Bosi b11f77df2a [FRONT COMPONENTS] Introduce conditionalAvailabilityExpression to command menu items (#18319)
## PR Description

- Uses `expr-eval` to enable front components (SDK plugins) to define
conditional availability as declarative expressions.
- Moves shared types and constants to `twenty-shared`
- Introduces a `conditionalAvailabilityExpression` field on
`CommandMenuItemEntity`, allowing command menu items to store an
`expr-eval` compatible expression string that is evaluated against a
CommandMenuContext to determine if the item should be shown.
- Creates an esbuild transform plugin
`conditional-availability-transform-plugin` in `twenty-sdk` that
converts TypeScript conditional availability expressions into
`expr-eval` compatible syntax at build time, so SDK developers can write
natural TS expressions that get transformed to evaluable strings.
- Removes deprecated `forceRegisteredActionsByKey` state and its usage.
- Creates `useCommandMenuContext` hook that builds the full
`CommandMenuContext` object from React state, which is then passed to
`useCommandMenuItemFrontComponentActions` for evaluating conditional
availability expressions.

Charles Bochet 3b2bf39565 Refactor modal (#18377)
## Summary

- Move Modal UI components (`Modal`, `ModalContent`, `ModalHeader`,
`ModalFooter`, `ModalBackdrop`) from `twenty-front` to `twenty-ui` as
stateless, reusable components
- Create `ModalStatefulWrapper` in `twenty-front` that connects Jotai
state (`isModalOpenedComponentState`) to the stateless `Modal` via an
`isOpen` prop
- Rename `modalVariant` prop to `overlay` with clearer values: `'dark'`
(default), `'light'` (in-container), `'transparent'` (invisible panel).
Remove unused `'medium'` overlay
- Rename `modalId` to `modalInstanceId` across the entire modal zone
(~30 consumer files)
- Extract `ModalProps` to its own file in
`twenty-ui/types/ModalProps.ts`; extract `ModalStatefulWrapperProps` to
its own file using `Pick<ModalProps, ...>` for shared props
- Extract `ModalBackdrop` to its own file and export from `twenty-ui`;
use it in `UserOrMetadataLoader` instead of a local styled component
- Use `ModalFooter` in `StepNavigationButton` and `ModalHeader` in
`SpreadsheetImportStepperContainer` instead of duplicated `styled.div`
definitions
- Remove unused `onClose` prop from stateless `Modal`; fix `typeof
document` guard in `ModalStatefulWrapper`
- Split shared types into individual files: `ModalSize.ts`,
`ModalPadding.ts`, `ModalOverlay.ts`
- Extract wyw profiling instrumentation from `vite.config.ts` into
reusable `createWywProfilingPlugin` with parametrized threshold and
improved logging
- Delete old `Modal.tsx`, `Modal.styles.ts`, `ModalContent.tsx`,
`ModalHeader.tsx`, `ModalFooter.tsx` from `twenty-front`
- Add comprehensive Storybook stories in `twenty-ui` covering Default,
Confirmation, Small, ExtraLarge, Closed, and Interactive variants

Félix Malfait c737028dd6 Move tools/eslint-rules to packages/twenty-eslint-rules (#17203)
## Summary

Moves the custom ESLint rules from `tools/eslint-rules` to
`packages/twenty-eslint-rules` for better organization within the
monorepo packages structure.

## Changes

- Move `eslint-rules` from `tools/` to `packages/twenty-eslint-rules`
- Use `loadWorkspaceRules` from `@nx/eslint-plugin` to load custom rules
- Update all ESLint configs to use the `twenty/` rule prefix instead of
`@nx/workspace-`
- Update `project.json`, `jest.config.mjs` with new paths
- Update `package.json` workspaces and `nx.json` cache inputs
- Update Dockerfile reference

## Technical Details

The custom ESLint rules are now loaded using Nx's `loadWorkspaceRules`
utility which:
- Handles TypeScript transpilation automatically
- Allows loading workspace rules from any directory
- Provides a cleaner approach than the previous `@nx/workspace-`
convention

## Testing

- Verified all 17 custom ESLint rules load correctly from the new
location
- Verified linting works on dependent packages (twenty-front,
twenty-server, etc.)

Abdullah. ee08060798 Improve deactivated objects & fields behaviors. (#16090)
Closes [1918](https://github.com/twentyhq/core-team-issues/issues/1918).

- For the first point in the issue, we just show the deactivated entries
along with the deactivated text.

---

- For the second point, we show a banner and control the
enabled/disabled state of save button depending on whether we're
allowing the user to create table with the typed name.
- For example, we do not want to allow the user to create a table with
reserved name, so we disable the save button without showing a banner.
- Similarly, we do not want the user to create a table with a name that
already exists in the database. In this case, we show a banner and we
also disable the save button.
- Finally, we do not want to allow the user to create a table where
singular and plural name are the same. Therefore, we disable the save
button for names like `works`.

---

- For the third point, if we add the delete button, it logically means
that we allow the user to delete a custom object/field even it has not
been deactivated yet, so did that.
- Upon deleting the object/field, if we wait for the metadata to refetch
before we navigate, this is what we see because the path does not exist
any longer after deletion and we're waiting for refetch on the path
until we navigate away.

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/dbe0569c-db88-4285-851f-22551b1ca81e

- To avoid this page from appearing, I replaced awaiting refetch to not
awaiting refetch and redirecting while the refetch happens in the
background.
- Therefore, when we delete something, there is a slight delay for when
it is actually cleared out from the list, but the Not Found view does
not appear on the screen.

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/47f49579-ce51-4d6a-b857-72046247bb4b

- I tried optimistically removing the object/field from the metadata,
but it leads to some issues (crashes the app) and I have not been able
to find a solution for it yet.
- Therefore, instead of getting stuck at perfection and blocking myself,
I stopped getting into the issue further and created this PR by ensuring
that the desired functionality works.

Abdullah. 222feb90b4 fix: update glob version to 11.1.0 (#15884)
Some Glob CLI related alerts were generated last night. I believe
they're safe to dismiss since I do not expect us to use the Glob CLI in
production environment, and those alerts do not impact the API, but
still updating the dependency version just in case.

Not sure if this would resolve all/any of the alerts since glob is a
dependency for many other dependencies, so a good number of dependency
variants are pulled in.

The alert that confirms it's just a CLI related vulnerability:

Paul Rastoin 0fdc7ba834 Twenty-shared tests parses decorator (#15765)
## Introduction
Since we've moved some class validator instances from twenty-server to
twenty-shared tests are red because they do not know how to parse
decorators declarations

We've fixed this by explicitly installing `class-validator` in
`twenty-shared` and configuring jest swc accordingly

## Twenty-server class validator patch
I don't even know if that's something we need anymore
Seems to be a patch either fixing or introducing credit card and phone
number validation
Would prefer discussing the need or not to either before merging this as
it could introduce regression at runtime:
- Centralize the patch to be consumed in both `twenty-server` and
`twenty-shared`
- Remove the patch

We should also document every patch motivations we do as it's quite
though to iterate over a such huge one

Félix Malfait f7cde28dd6 🔧 Restore PRs #14348 and #14352 that were reverted by PR #14347 (#14359)
## Problem

**CRITICAL:** Two PRs were accidentally reverted when PR #14347 "Prevent
csv export injections" was merged:

1. **PR #14348** "[Page Layout] - Review Refactor" - **RESTORED**
2. **PR #14352** "Fix wrong path used by backend" - **RESTORED**

## Root Cause Analysis

During the merge of PR #14347, there was a complex merge conflict with
PR #14352 "Fix wrong path used by backend". The merge commit
`324d7204bb` in the PR #14347 branch brought in changes from PR #14352,
but during the conflict resolution, **BOTH PR #14348 and PR #14352's
changes were accidentally overwritten**.

## What This PR Restores

This PR restores **BOTH** PRs by cherry-picking their commits:

### PR #14348 Changes Restored:
- `GraphWidgetRenderer.tsx` - was deleted, now restored
- `WidgetRenderer.tsx` - was missing, now restored
- `SettingsPageLayoutTabsInstanceId.ts` - was deleted, now restored
- `useUpdatePageLayoutWidget.ts` - was renamed back, now restored with
correct name
- Multiple test files that were deleted
- Several hook files that were renamed/reverted
- File renames: `usePageLayoutWidgetUpdate.ts` →
`useUpdatePageLayoutWidget.ts`
- Hook refactoring and test file organization
- Page layout component improvements

### PR #14352 Changes Restored:
- **Types moved to twenty-shared:**
  - `packages/twenty-shared/src/types/AppBasePath.ts` RESTORED
  - `packages/twenty-shared/src/types/AppPath.ts` RESTORED
  - `packages/twenty-shared/src/types/SettingsPath.ts` RESTORED
- **Navigation utilities moved to twenty-shared:**
- `packages/twenty-shared/src/utils/navigation/getAppPath.ts` RESTORED
- `packages/twenty-shared/src/utils/navigation/getSettingsPath.ts`
RESTORED
- **200+ import statements updated** across the codebase to use
twenty-shared
- **Old type files deleted** from twenty-front/src/modules/types/

## Evidence of Complete Restoration

**Before (reverted state):**
- Types were in `packages/twenty-front/src/modules/types/`
- Page layout files missing
- Hook files incorrectly named

**After (this PR):**
- Types correctly in `packages/twenty-shared/src/types/`
- All page layout files restored
- Hook files correctly named
- All import statements updated

## Verification

**Total changes:**
- PR #14348: 36 files changed, 863 insertions(+), 442 deletions(-)
- PR #14352: 243 files changed, 492 insertions(+), 461 deletions(-)
- **Combined: 279 files changed, 1355 insertions(+), 903 deletions(-)**

## Impact

This completely restores both PRs that were accidentally lost, ensuring:
1. Page layout refactoring work is back
2. Type organization and path utilities are correctly in twenty-shared
3. Backend email paths work correctly again
4. No functionality is lost

Fixes the reversion caused by the merge conflict in PR #14347.

**Small Security Issue:** CSV exports were vulnerable to formula
injection attacks when users entered values starting with =, +, -, or @.
(only happens if a logged-in user injects corrupted data)

Solution:
- Added ZWJ (Zero-Width Joiner) protection that prefixes dangerous
values with invisible Unicode character
- This is the best way to preserve original data while preventing Excel
from executing formulas
- Added import cleanup to restore original values when re-importing

Changes:
- New sanitizeValueForCSVExport() function for security
- Updated all CSV export paths to use both security + formatting
functions
- Added comprehensive tests covering attack vectors and international
characters
- Also added cursor rules for better code consistency

Félix Malfait 322c8a1852 Upgrade to Node22 (#12488)
BlocknoteJS requires an ESM module where our server is CJS, this forced
us to pin the server-util version, which led us to force the resolution
of several packages, leading to bugs downstream.

From Node 22.12 Node supports requiring ESM modules (available from Node
22.0 with a flag). So I upgrade the module.
I picked Node 22 and not Node 23 or Node 24 because 22 is the LTS and we
don't plan to change node versions frequently.

If you remain on Node 18, things should still mostly work, except if you
edit a Rich Text field.

I also starting changing the default runtime for Serverless Functions
which isn't directly related. This means new serverless functions will
be created on Node 22, but we will still need another PR to migrate
existing serverless functions before September (end of support by AWS).

(In this PR I also remove the upgrade commands from 0.43 since they rely
on Blocknote and I didn't want to have to deal with this)

Félix Malfait 24873d0c1d Remove versions from package.json (#11658)
Now the source of truth for the version is set during the build process.
We set it as an environment variable from the tags.
We could add it back to the package.json during the build process (from
the git tag), but there is not use for it at the moment since it's not
npm packages.

Paul Rastoin 9ad8287dbc [REFACTOR] twenty-shared multi barrel and CJS/ESM build with preconstruct (#11083)
# Introduction

In this PR we've migrated `twenty-shared` from a `vite` app
[libary-mode](https://vite.dev/guide/build#library-mode) to a
[preconstruct](https://preconstruct.tools/) "atomic" application ( in
the future would like to introduce preconstruct to handle of all our
atomic dependencies such as `twenty-emails` `twenty-ui` etc it will be
integrated at the monorepo's root directly, would be to invasive in the
first, starting incremental via `twenty-shared`)

## How to test
In order to ease the review this PR will ship all the codegen at the
very end, the actual meaning full diff is `+2,411 −114`
In order to migrate existing dependent packages to `twenty-shared` multi
barrel new arch you need to run in local:
```sh
yarn tsx packages/twenty-shared/scripts/migrateFromSingleToMultiBarrelImport.ts && \
npx nx run-many -t lint --fix -p twenty-front twenty-ui twenty-server twenty-emails twenty-shared twenty-zapier
```
Note that `migrateFromSingleToMultiBarrelImport` is idempotent, it's atm
included in the PR but should not be merged. ( such as codegen will be
added before merging this script will be removed )

## Upcoming enhancement: ( in others dedicated PRs )
- 1/ refactor generate barrel to export atomic module instead of `*`
- 2/ generate barrel own package with several files and tests
- 3/ Migration twenty-ui the same way
- 4/ Use `preconstruct` at monorepo global level

## Conclusion
As always any suggestions are welcomed !
